Made a couple free dyno pulls yesterday at a shop grand opening. Pretty happy with the power she put down in 30 degree/ 85F weather. N54, PS2 high flow (stock size inlet), fbo , stock exhaust, stock outlets on e40/ AEM charge pipe meth/30psi tune by Ken/Wedge ...also ran on drag radials...

Cool to finally see physical graphs of the PS2s hitting the high 600s. I'm still really curious how the 2" snout hi-flows would work out to power-wise, AFAIK very few graphs have even been posted of them, let alone running high boost.

Not the most ideal fueling setup but its been working for me for years from stock turbo and Ps2's since March. fuel it stage 1, AEM meth kit with prometh 1575cc nozzle in charge pipe 100% meth. no PI or shotgun. just got another bung welded to chargepipe so ill most likely run the smaller 1000cc aem nozzle and 500cc aem nozzle for better atomization.

been running stock diverter valves since day one and 95770 gapped to .018 with eldor coils. on 28psi no missfires....on 30psi i get the odd one

I think people buy Pures because they want a reliable option and with that mindset, few would be pushing them to within an inch of their lives running high boost

Either way, nice numbers OP. Impressive for E40/meth

this was basically a full out dyno run ... i may run this at the track as well but definitely not a daily tune. WGDC in the 85-90% ............. 28psi tune is definitely more reasonable in the 75% range

And all your cylinders seem good ? No timing pulls or wonky trims
That's insane for e40 people usually top out in the low to mid 5s

With the charge pipe meth my trims have always been within reason after a little tweaking by Ken. I ended up getting the revision the morning of the dyno so had little time to test but all worked out pretty well. minimal corrections up top on a couple cylinders of between 1-3 degrees .

Im sure Ken will have a look and clean it up a but more if i intend to run this at the track.

Just curious was it random cyl or could it be distribution related?
And not knocking you I give you props for making that power without pi, i am about to do meth and am debating how much to invest in it before i upgrade my turbos.

just random cylinders. trims are negative throughout so its clearly getting enough fuel and computer is pulling some to compensate

I’ve also heard a lot of good things about these Pure Turbos PS2s. When I finally blow up my twin stockers pushing 98% WGDC for 23-24 psi, I’ll be giving Jesse a call for a set of these turbos.
