Hey everyone, I feel that such valuable data is very stratified for our platform--especially when it comes to those looking for the most efficient/effective means of providing adequate cooling for their vehicles when pushing either the limits of stock turbo's or Upgraded Twins or ST kits.

I'd love to see data, logs, multiple pulls and possible base reads of the setups people are running and trying to compare the "top" brands to one another. Remember, all of this is to help and guide everyone as to where it's "best" to spend their hard earned money.

Let the products speak for themselves! :)

I've got the ADE 1K FMIC, I'm really happy with it. Takes care of business well enough in AZ.

I've added a poll, I can add them as needed.

I've got the normal vrsf 7" with my MMP stage 3 turbos and it really isn't enough to keep temps down, probably looking at getting a 7.5" over winter

Thanks. I am not including the 5" as we know that isn't really an upgrade, especially in the context given by the OP.

We have "personally" beaten to a pulp the VRSF 7" HD and the VRSF 7.5 Race here in South Florida in the hot humid oven weather. They perform best from the "various" different FMIC upgrades I have seen. I go through over a dozen logs a day from all over the world, different weather conditions, and these are simply a better performing FMIC ....... IMO.

VRSF 7" HD - for cars running stock turbos or upgraded turbos up to 21-22 PSI

VRSF 7.5" Race - for upgraded turbos running more than 23 PSI

This is how I rate them. I am dont sell VRSF stuff, and I have been very critical towards them in the past, so credit is given where credit is due

Here is some data on the VRSF 7" HD testing. This was the 3rd back to back pull in 97°f temps 6th gear ending

I love how people from Florida talk about how bad it is there. Here is an example of what its like in the dead heat of the summer in AZ. For cars, its awful.

Same day, double the humidity and 7* less over a thousand less DA:

Temps get dismissed for humidity by people from Florida all the time, but in reality the extreme temps hurt DA more. Keep in mind, it actually hit 119* that same day and DA was higher, over 5400. Even if the humidity was 200% on a 97* day at that track, the DA is a far cry from what its like here for a majority of the summer. We had 100 days over 100* last year.

Yup AZ weather is crazy. Miami and Ft Lauderdale do hit triple digit numbers and got some crazy humidity numbers also. The weather here is more so tropical. Idk how AZ weather is rated, desert(dry) or tropical ? The most Ive seen DA here is around 3200 which is 45 minutes from Miami so its got to be worse further down south.

I can't say that as a human I'd prefer florida... Probably rather have the dry heat. But for cars it's really awful. It's not realistic to go outside in the summer, so not really able to compare it. We all hide inside, the sun is ruthless.

Anybody remember the Helix intercooler (the original stepped-core intercooler for the N54)? It's patented and still great for stock turbos.
