Through the app only for now.

I have to say thank you to @jyamona for the fan switch, been asking for this for close to 3 years from mhd since moving away from the jb4 which was the only feature I missed and really needed.

This is going to help a lot of people.

You're welcome! We will be actively seeking out suggestions for other improvements and features to add once the new apps release is behind us.

I know you mentioned several things youre already working on at once, but by any chance are you guys thinking of adding the additional DME-side 6AT tuning things that Rod Sutphin and the other guys discovered (or at least started actually using once cracking the TCU side) recently as an option for flashing?

I don't know if it'd be possible as a check box or not, but it would be great to have the more recent optimizations available for everyone. I have an 06 build so I can't get a proper custom TCU tune until I retrofit a newer TCU, but having the DME side of the trans/shifting controls further optimized in the mean time would be awesome. I know I could probably just bug Ken to get me an updated tune for now in my case, but I'm sure there's plenty of people who would appreciate the improved performance that don't have a custom tune for one reason or another.

Any possible way to have flat-shifting or no lift shifting from mhd for the 6mt guys? Even if its an extra pay option, i m sure lot of ppl will be interested.

In the video it shows to use clutch switch signal.

You can do this now if you set your rev limit appropriately, combined with the tq lim 2048 delete flash option (and PI safety if running PI).

OH! Thats all i need to do? I have tq limit 2048 checked. But my rev limiter is raised to 7500. I can just no lift shift?? And i wont bonce off limiter?

It will still go to your rev limiter upon clutch-in, but the 2048 delete keeps throttle open. You should have rev limiter set to where you want to be NLS shifting for now.

@jyamona

The biggest improvement we need in my opinion would be a re-write of the logic to cut the N54 down to single bank o2 sensor for single turbo conversions. To make it worthwhile, perhaps sell it as a $50 module in the app itself similar to flex fuel.

Also, we've discussed the stock ecu having control over the mac solenoid. That would be an awesome feature as well.

I love what you guys are doing so far! Thanks and keep up the great work!

Edit: Just read in an earlier post you mentioned it was already on the radar. Good to hear - thanks again.ld

Edit2: From a custom tuning perspective. It would be nice to add a toggle that disabled adaptations. During dyno tuning, we could check this box before flashing. It would prevent the car from adapting between runs shortening dyno time.

I would add ... for the hordes running without cats, cut whatever the "aging" logic is for the front 02 sensors based on rear 02.

Oh, not really my idea of NLS. Not really looking to have engine bonce off rev limiter. Was thinking engine would retard timing and/or cut fuel while clutching in with throttle still staying open and then everything resume after clutch let out again.

Timing retard alone is never enough to stop a WOT engine rev. Even once the that is added in, it will still need to cut fuel at your "NLS rpm". 2048 delete makes the rev limiter a fuel cut limiter.

i cant say im a fan of the new style 2.0 gauges, i preferred the big number ones in the old version, hopefully they bring it back soon, also the timer in the logs is not there anymore, i really miss that

The time is hidden intentionally by the graphing software. I can bring it back.

playing around with it a bit more im even more disappointed by the new style gauges. Peak psi shows up as a small dot somewhere in between 18 and 28 psi and lpfp doesnt show the low and high number in the corners anymore. They need to bring back old style big number gauges with clearly visible peak numbers in the corners.
