Surprisingly this thread seems to have gone cold :disappointed: .......anyone bought a ReFlex V2 yet ?:grimacing:
I'm waiting on the PnP harness to be available. Jake told me that he didn't like something about the first batch of harnesses they received so he made a change. Should have been in already, but everything is delayed these days...I'm hoping next week.

Although when I buy it I'll have nothing to hook it up to...the BMP FF manifold & PI kit I ordered has been delayed again. They said that every one of the 100 manifolds they received from production last week hit the alternator :neutral:

Thats wierd! I read in another thread that someone already purchased one?
Err, well the V2 is available, but I think you need to cut and splice the wiring yourself to hook it up.

I don't know shit about wiring and am too afraid I'll mess everything up. Luckily for those like me, Jake told me there will be a PnP harness option which will be an extra $50 with the ReFlex itself, or $150 as a standalone option, and therefore I wait patiently :)

It’s possible because I had the version 1 reflex. I reused my V1 harness with the V2 Reflex I only had to add one wire to utilize the flexfuel within the reflex2 instead of on v1 I had to use the MotivFlex kit and reflex together. The connector used for the reflex harness is pretty slick you only need to depress the white tabs and insert the single new wire. While this doesn’t provide for the additional I/O terminations I am sure adding them would not be difficult if the wires are supplied.

I set up a dyno day for this Friday to see where the car is at currently..Yes I know dynos don’t tell all lol…but I have pretty much put it on the dyno after any bigger modifications…I am not pulling huge numbers and pretty positive my limiting factor will be the turbos…they are basically stock “billet TD04 CHRAS” But I do like to track it’s progression.

Yay i got a V2! but I didn't see any additional inputs or outputs nor did I recieve additional wires or pins (I think ! I may have to look again!) and none of the online information mentions anything new, I really would like to see something describing exactly what the V2 offers.

Maybe by looking at your main connector I could tell…how many aux connections come off the connector before going into the reflex box.

Not the greatest photos but that was my pin one wire the other is the connector running from the ethanol sensor to one of the aux connectors on the main harness

Yeah for sure because your N55. Your dme will communicate your fuel through the cambus…As far as future tuning and future mods your in the good…going forward the N54 isn’t going to benefit from future development as nicely… May not feel like it but you will see.

I would splice the reflex yellow into the blue/red canbus high I believe… and the reflex green to the red canbus low… you won’t be able to miss them they would be twisted together. Once those are connected your fuel mix would be traveling through the canbus network.
I would assume the newest aux bin an what not files on the reflex website should be updated to work as such…but your still for sure going to need to receive a MHD file from Motiv to updated the MHD so it doesn’t freak out..

I already installed it (last week) and updated to the MHD firmware and all is working as expected. What is baffeling me is that I was told by Motive (via e mail) that the V2 will have an additional pair of outputs AND inputs but there is no further mention of this anywhere.

Nope I wasnt given anything additional to whats on their site, I installed it as per instructions using the 7 wires; +VE, -VE , CAN Hi. CAN low, Cam sensor, Crank sensor and MAP sensor.

Depending on how many aux connectors you have on the harness you can monitor a wide range of dorky data…I intend to monitor oil pressure and possibly crankcase pressure hopefully that would give me a heads up I’m about to hurt something…besides my minimal brain capacity 🧠

I intend to somehow tie it in to my Water Injection system to get the DME to react when faults are reported by the WI controller.
