Yes, VTT tested 3 available manifolds and all of them showed little gains In terms of power. But the SC Manifold was closest to stock for heat dissipation after several runs.

I would advise that you primarily seek a aftermarket manifold for Port Injection usage.

Have the manifolds been flow tested?
Might have missed it if this was already asked or provided

I think he meant flow bench tested; Which it has not

Seeing how @30psi the VTT team noticed no difference... what would a flow test do for anybody?

It could flow 10X better than stock but without reving to 8k rpm and a ported head it'd be for nothing.

Which is why I said what I said lol, I wouldn't purchase this on the premise it's flow characteristics would promote anything at this time. Buy it for looks and port injection.

True, but still the answer is no lol. One thing that comes to mind is dispersion between all runners; which is what the oem manifold has a problem with. Granted, It's less of a problem with pi, but being able to say whether or not the manifold flows better in any fashion would be a good point to have.

I'm sure the OEM manifolds were designed with flow in mind. I'm on the list because of the port injection but questions about flow are also still important due to the amount of air being supplied to each area I would believe to be important? Am I wrong to assume so? I'm no gear head so if my question is stupid, don't hesitate to tell me lol

That is good information, but just based on the design, it is unlikely to be much better or worse than stock. So if you're doing it just for port injection, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. On this engine, without cams there seemingly isn't a ton to be had, but no, you did not miss any flow testing that I'm aware of.

Bigdaddy: You are correct, the answer is a no.

I would love to tell you that this does in fact flow XXX more than OEM or anything else but truthfully the testing has not been done and will likely not be done either. Not by me anyways :)

So i would hate to say something that isnt true or even advertise it.

Yeah I hear you. just playing devils advocate. I still can't decide which route I'm going to take. But if it's pi this will no doubt be my choice.

Can someone link a picture of the most recent version of the manifold? Even if it is not the final "production" version, just something closer than what is listed in the OP.

Ok guys we ended up with 11 paid and 2 pending payment. I went ahead and ordered 20, just in case others would like to jump on before they get here. I did order the 4 polished that were paid, but the rest will be in black.

Thanks for the update @Sharp !

Good that you will have some extra as I'm sure that more will jump on this, especially if @EOSpeed come through with the fuel kit to accompany this! Do you have an expected delivery date for the shipment to arrive with you?

@Snelson3003, any updates on the revised gasket?
