Possibly dumb question...is there any way of still using the stock airbox with this intake?

I say skip the gaskets and run one of the multiple "phenolic" spacers that have popped up recently. Aluminum is a fantastic conductor of heat, and a spacer will prevent your manifold from becoming a big heat sink for the cylinder head.

You'd still need gaskets, no? One side has the gasket grooves, it mates to the head. The other side is flat and would need sealed.

The two that popped up yesterday

One uses gaskets

The other uses spray on hi temp copper gasket maker

Viton -225 O rings worked for me. Rated to 400*

Another thing I was curious of.. What happened to the log/2jzish manifolds? Did they ever get sorted? Are they available and working?
I wanna say @101duck was the only one I saw with one.

We're running the SplitSec AIC1-V6 fuel injector controller for the port injection. The combination with this manifold is working well at a ~20psi boost pressure on E85 fuel.

Logs from the JB4 boost controller:

The ability to run pure E85 fuel pays off with tuning. The engine is very happy with ignition advance values like this:

Guys I ordered a couple of these without the port injection, $440 shipped. Will be like stock unit, have about 5 of them left. PM me if interested.
