Something like this? Is it required or can you trigger the pump similar to a Hobbs switch?

You don't need a Hobbs switch because the RFX replaces the need for the Hobbs switch. You do need the relay to trigger the pumps. You can use a regular automobile relay or solid state. Recommend you email Chris @ Motive and ask him for recommendations for a solid state relay and overall what your objective is and he can give you recommendations for SSRs and overall setup.

I emailed Motiv about what relay to use for the secondary fuel pump a few weeks ago this was their reply:
For the secondary pump you only really need a standard relay. The Reflex only controls up to 200hz so other than soft starting a pump it cant control its speed very precisely.
If they want you to use a SSR then it def doesn't hurt to. That part number above is a good one and if you need a socket its only a few $ more https://www.summitracing.com/parts/msd-89612
Just make sure its weird correctly. The SSR has slightly different wiring than the standard auto.

I used this relay for my secondary pump. Wedge recommended that I go ahead and use a SSR to control the pump.

I need to clarify something, I was told the reflex lite received an update and is able to both control a secondary fuel pump and also run flex fuel, is this accurate?

Just rewired for CANBUS integration and am getting MHD001. The car starts roughly, idles roughly, then dies. CAN High and Low have been wired to the respective green/yellow wires on the MOTIV harness. The purple/white wire from the original OEM setup was put back in. Reflex patches applied to the .bin and Reflex ECA set in MHD flash. Anyone else face this issue?

Wiring issue. Make sure your are making good contact in all wire taps. Map sensor wire connected to correct wire?

I would ditch the taps and just solder the wires. I have seen the taps cause issues due the the small size of the ecm wires.

Map sensor is correct. After some ohm testing, looks like the Reflex Pin 4 CAN high wire in the harness bad. Taps were verified with continuity tests. The pinning and crimps on the connectors looked good too.

It connects to one of the 12v supplied inputs. So depending on what the sensor does, the Reflex can be adjusted to interpret correctly. You need the specs of the sensor to know.

An other topic;
The Reflex has a "MAIN 5V+ IN (OPTIONAL)" connection. What is this for? Do i need to connect this if I want to hook up a 5v sensor?

Main 5V+ IN is for analog inputs

Thanks for that I think I may have to test the reflex harness on the reflex pin end. I have tried the taps, and this time I went as far as to make a 'Y-splice' using oem pins for the oem harness end, and just depinning the x60001 connector. Still getting the MHD001 can timeout as well. I have not ohm tested my wiring for continuity but that is the next logical step .. [Me feeling stupid .. assuming the harness would be good ]

Anyone got a picture or diagram on how they have wired up the solid state relay for secondary lp fuel pump trigger via reflex I/o ?

Checkout zero to 60 on youtube.

Use a relay to activate the second pump, mac valve idk if its supported.
You
I saw zero to 60 managed to wire the reflex to the second fuel pump. He said he went with a solid state relay to receive the PWM signal from Reflex, hence the pump is in a state of 100hz on/off operation.

I have ordered my set of Reflex but what bothers me now is how the wiring job should be performed. As I notice there are two separate wire come out of my original hobbs switch and route to the relay, while Reflex comes with one Aux(1 or 2) wire from its plug. Anyone has a diagram for the connection of Reflex and 2nd fuel pump? That would help a lot. Thanks in advance
did you ever find a good DIY on this? This is the only part I donā€™t understand with the motive reflex plus

Any luck with finding a good diagram?
I used the diagram that motiv has on their website.

Not gonna lie, shit is still confusingšŸ˜‚
- 87 goes to accessory key on. Get a tapafuse and find a fuse that only has power with the key on.
- 30 goes to the positive on the battery. I would put an inline fuse on that wire
- 85 ground it
- 86 goes to the reflex aux2 wire (grey)

A few post above I linked the relay I used that motiv recommended.
