Looking to hit close to 800whp. What setups am I looking at ?

Oh yes, the imaginary compressor map in your mind. That's the point. You have no real idea when it's running out of steam.

Turbo is clearly good for over 1000.

This is on an S54, but the turbo is making the power.


Post an N54 car making over 1000 whp. The fact that you had to post an E46 proves my point even more

Sorry, what does that have to do with the power potential of the pt6870? It's not the turbo holding things back.

1000-1100HP is possible with this Turbo. also in the n54 ;-). do not understand why this is such a big discussion.
same that a 6266 can makes 750-800hp in a n54

I don´t get your braindefect. There is rn one n54 over 1000whp and he is claiming easy peasy 1100. So yeah. Do it. Rest is just talking. I wonder what your arguments are that you disagree..

1000 seems very rare on N54s. Even if it is dynojet rated...

Post some draggy times to settle it.

I don't know much about single turbos but assume both above are bigger than the discussed 6870...

He ran out of fueling at the 968whp pull and was only at ~50% WGDC.
Arguing about something that's been proven in 2015 lol. It will take like 50psi for the 6870 to hit 1kwhp, that compressor needs high boost :)

Here are some LOGS and DYNOS for the PTE Gen2 6870 on my 335i:

@Scorpstan hit 968 @ 35psi and posted logs/dyno doing so, and ended the pull early at that.

Put it on a dynojet, then it will be apples to apples with what everyone is comparing to.

WGDC doesn't mean anything, I can put it on a 4 port and have 5% duty cycle running a 30lb spring.

You were also running 5 degrees less timing, and had pulls lol

meanwhile, 4 years ago, a smaller turbo (6466g2) making 830 on stock heads/cams @ 33psi
