I am in the planning stages of a built N54 for my 335i. Besides big power, prioritizing low lag and throttle response, so interested in this product.

Are there any updates on progress? Anyone installed/run it? Any more thoughts on port injection plugs? Current plan is to run E85 and Syvecs ECU, so would like to keep DI and add PI, ideally without mess of an adapter plate.

Waiting for delivery to test on my Full Monty ST setup.

Brendan at HyperBMW has had to redesign over and over again to get it ready.

Any updates?

It has been 11 months.

There is a bit of testing going on with final revisions on big single body. The ETC for our ITB setup is proving difficult to implement given the space issues (lack of).

A lot of companies just design garbage and put it out, as long as they've got the capital for warranty issues, they don't care. I am looking to have this finalized by the end of June, then building a new unit for distribution to our 3rd party tester.

We're using this on a P48 engine with really good reliability so far. Will be great to have a reliable consumer car running it as well.

Hopefully you guys can appreciate the long prototyping period for this, we want it to be perfect. The ITB setup can be finalized after the big single as it will resolve the ETC issues.

Just wondering if you were able to get the design finalized with it being the last day in June. I'm really interested in this.

Been waiting on this ITB along with the TB to test locally for ages after sending a new TB to them.
Just as well I've had the 6HP28 conversion to distract but now waiting on a 8000rpm engine tune too.

Shame you had to send them a TB and they could not source themselves, given how damn cheap they are in yards etc.

The 6HP28 conversion should put down great 1/4 numbers etc. I bet it will be a blast to drive. Can't wait to hear about it.

Have you gotten any updates from them recently? I went another route for my PI intake manifold but still interested in this solutions for various reasons.

The 6HP28 is a great solution for me. Its a more economical than going the 8 speed conversion (although would have preferred this) and can be built to take ridiculous horsepower (and locally which is important). Guru being so easy to deal with, knowledgeable and extremely helpful made it a no brainer. Also had a brand new 6hp21 gas converter and flex plate lying around. I was also able to source a low mile 28 for half the cost of most available here in Oz.

I have run the Fab Factory front facing intake manifold, then switched to the Plazmaman after it was first developed with Martymil pushing them along ages ago. Both manifolds ran PI when needed. I have gone back to no PI and no dual HPFPs for "low power" tuning on my fully built engine. Its run in and about to turn it up to 8000rpm, so I will be forced sometime soon to go PI again. But PI will need to be sequential fire or I wont go there. That'll leave me looking at Motiv Reflex if its been updated for all E-series comms.

I was looking towards the ITB for single turbo throttle response. I havent heard from Brendan in ages so a phone call is imminent. Given the situation with covid and now the floods in Queensland and norther New South Wales, who knows where he is with finding time to finalize the N54/55 ITB. I am less motivated with my car than ever TBH as trying to finish a house and the daily is now a Tesla. I'm sure I will get some enthusiasm back once I finesse the last few major bits on my car after 14 years. LOL
