My DCT conversion to M3 GWS/FLASH

off the top of my head no.. but its a tiny little 2 pin just like you unplugged from the original GWS. if i recall correctly it even plugged right in, wires were a little bit of a stretch though.

Well damn, I feel dumb. I'll pull the GWS back out tomorrow to take care of that.

If that gets fixed that's the only real "issue", which means I'll go pick up the final parts this week for my M3 3.15 LSD Diff conversion.

When you go to code the cic it should say c1a or c08 something like that .. mine is cic08 and even without the gws or anything else I enter drivelogic and can select d1through d5 and s1 through s6. Once I select I can’t go back into that menu. I have to exit out and come back into mDrive settings I’ll recode mine and video it for clarity

awesome stuff. Once you have entered the drivelogic setting and it’s red I can turn my CIC selector and I can see it change from d modes and s modes once I push the knob down it selects it(or seems to) and then I can’t go back in and change it. I’d need to exit that menu and go to tone settings and then go back in and change it again. Our DME doesn’t have 3or 4 modes like the Ms do and the CAN messages would be different between the CIC and the DME that we’ll need @jyamona for...

EDC won’t work because obviously we don’t have those shocks but there’s a shop here in Aus offering retrofitting

“I will not be able to get to that for some time sadly. Short term you guys can just wire an Arduino into the PT-CAN wires and have it inject the msg on the press of a button. That firmware would be very simple, there's some boards made for CAN comms off the shelf”

I’m ahead of you there...already have an arduino with a can shield on my desk.

Given that the z4is has normal, sport and sport plus modes just like an M car i think it might be easier to make that work... if we’re lucky it might work out of the box

@dyezak Couple questions, did you get the 8 pin connector off your spare harness and did you go back in with INPA and run your UIF again to see if your GWS ZB had changed to the M3 one? Just curious on that one. I can find the 6 pin connectors all day long for a couple bucks new but I can't find a 8 pin listed anywhere on realOEM.

I would say lets 3d print them, but I think the details are too fine.

I should go run my UIF again. But I went to an e9x ///M salvager and got the connectors from him.
