I really want a bottom mount and the fact that this is twin scroll is very enticing. What does everyone think? I know JP Workz doesnt have the best record for shipping quick, but the website does say a one week turnaround.... i guess we will see. I know a decent amount of people running JPWorkz Kits with good luck and this seems really good for the PRICE>

I like to see any kit put up some sort of numbers before I could even begin to endorse or recommend anything. This is one of about 4 kits I know of coming in for sale under 4k supposedly.

I haven't followed many bottom builds, but is the spool time compared to a same sized turbo on a top mount kit that is also twin scroll significantly different?

If you don't have issues waiting I would say go ahead. The fact is he has way too many orders just for a one man show. I would make sure use Paypal. I'm very interested to see how it performs, they been some claims from other vendors about the design.

The only numbers I've seen from a short runner twin scroll bottom mount n54 manifold are from steed speed's prototype manifold. That kit produced 400wtq by about 2900 rpm using an EFR 8374. So based on that bottom mount stuff spools better when designed properly. These log manifolds aren't CNC designed with the internal passages however, so I suppose only time will tell how they perform.

The fact that people still consider buying from him baffels me.

I agree. Definitely use PayPal. I might have to just go for it. I’m looking to do something soon. Some of the other kits on the market are great and perform well but I can’t afford to spend $5000 on a turbo kit. I’d rather spend less on the kit so I can afford proper tuning and maintenance. My goals are also not to go 700whp. I would like 550whp on pump and daily drive it.

Just use an American Express or Discover card. They don't give a fuck. The merchant could reply back with a DNA sample and sworn statement signed by a federal judge stating everything checked out and they will still side with the customer. And no, I'm not promoting first party credit card fraud.

This has been done for years, quick google search will show how easy this is. Also fftec bottom kit the first kit out for the n54 did the same on there vband setups.

why bother with a twin scroll then if all the exhaust pulses is just gonna get mixed at the wastegate??? could have just gone with a open scroll to keep things simple and have the wastegate on the manifold instead so you don't have to fuck up the turbine housing like that.

fairly common doesn't mean it is a good idea... it is fairly common to find a ricer car with cut spring to lower the ride height too.

You knocking something you cannot prove that doesn't work. This works has been proven on plenty of builds.
I have done the same thing on custom builds for vettes and rear mounts. Also on a custom twin turbo M3 s65 build have zero issues.

not saying it won't work... just saying the execution could have been a lot better if you put some thoughts into it.

This is still twin scroll there is a divider that travels to the wastegate flange. This has been done thousands of times with proven data all over the web. People knocked our top mount kits to when they first came out, said they would crack wouldn't perform etc look what those are doing. lol
Still have yet to find another 335 as fast as my off the shelve tune 335 60-130
