Just bringing this over here as well. Finalized design and will be installing and testing the prototype in the next couple weeks.
UPDATE: 3 November 2016
Drawing sent to my CNC. The current drawing has be changed from the original to have mounting on the underside. Also tapers port holes to accommodate both nitrous Jets and Meth nozzles.
I actually had air channels milled into the design in front of the ports where the jets would be to smooth the transition or airflow around the Nitrous jet. But removed them for the final rendition as them being there would effect the Meth nozzle spray dispersion being that they are shorter/lower profile than the nitrous jets.
Should have the actual prototype in in the coming weeks to start real world testing.

Been a minute, but the light is seen at the end of the tunnel, lol.

I know Nitrous has been run on the N54 as i searched around just to see what people did and etc. Nitrous isn't always well welcome on some platforms for whatever reason. But i've always been a fan of any PROPERLY setup power adder.
I'm choosing the Direct port route for my setup. Base kit being used here to start is: Nitrous Express
Part Number: 80006EFI-10

Why am i choosing to go nitrous over a turbo upgrade currently? Partially because on this car in particular, im not looking for more power than the stock twins can support. And nitrous will work for those times i just want some added go.
I've run nitrous with very good success in other cars. so i figured i'd do the same on the XI.
On top of the base kit, im running the typical bottle heater and remote opener. Going to make a custom switchbox in the center console to hide everything. as well as have the purge kit which is a necessity if not using it all the time. Who wants to crack liines?
Not sure if anyone is interested, but if you are feel free to follow this thread. I have a spare intake manifold in the mail to mock it all up on. and make it nice and pretty. And still on the fence about actually making a spacer plate for the intake manifold and putting jets there instead of the manifold runners.
I opted for direct port, because i don't want to deal with pooling and uneven distro. Anyway, i'll post updates as i go. thanks for viewing.
