I'm pretty certain I remember reading somewhere that manufacturer's are required to continue producing parts for a minimum of 10 years after vehicle production ceases. No chance these are going to stop being produced so soon.

They will continue, but under the normal part number which costs double.

bump anyone else know anything?

They're the same injector. Ones associated with the s63s customer care package the other is the retail part. If you read the sib the material improvements started with index 11s and it specifically says not to replace -11 under the customer care package

Thanks everyone the FCP rep got back to me and basically said the same thing. I installed and coded them last night.

Good thing they last twice as long as the old 9's :grin:

Not if you don't get them from a reputable source.

I bought a new set of index 12s off a guy named Duncan, who told me he gets them from "a guy in Canada". Had two leaking so bad my motor was noticeably surging by 15k miles.

To say I was PISSED was an understatement.

On the subject of injectors, can we use part number 13647599876? FCP lists it for the 2013 M5 and M6 and they use the S63 engine. They don't list the N54 or any vehicle that used it, but their blog has the cross reference info regarding S63, N63, and N54 injectors all being interchangeable.

The 13647599876 injector looks a good bit different as well so how would the 937 injector work in both?

Looks a good bit different is right. That's a solenoid injector like the one used in the N55 not an N54 piezo injector lol

I just went to order a set on this link and the shipping to Australia was $900! That's more than the injectors. I just recently bought a psp fmic and shipping cost me $200. WTF? Any suggestions? I can't believe that's correct, or they are burying the real cost in the shipping.

I see:
Price:$134.20 & FREE Shipping

Probably because AUS

Curious, does anyone know what the differences are in the actual injectors? Piezo injectors are very interesting lol.

The difference between the part numbers or between piezo vs solenoid style injectors?

The difference between part numbers is just a better filter or something.

And even that isn't the case anymore. The part numbers were literally just a cheaper way for a dealer to get the part when so many were being replaced. Both filters got the same internal filter upgrade so it could survive the heat.

I inquired about the cost and they denied it was them that gave me the price

Yeah I arranged to have them sent to a US address for free and then on to me for about $200. Happy endings!
They cost $500 each here so it's a good deal. Cheers

There is a BMW dealer on Amazon selling injectors for $134

I received these today. A box of disappointment:

I told them I would accept a replacement if they can package it properly rather than a refund. I am rejecting every one of these and will ensure I do not get the same ones back.
