Ad: TTFS Dual Fuel Pump Upgrade for N55

TTFS is pleased to announce that after tireless research and development, we are excited to bring to market the TTFS Dual Fuel Pump Upgrade for N55. Our upgrade system has been running on two 2015 BMW M2--the TTFS M2' for almost a year and a customer’s M2 in Texas for five months. Both M2s are now running Pure Stage 2 turbos. Our Texas customer's M2 is a road course car, the one BM3 posted about on their Instagram page during their collaboration with TTFS that is making 575 whp on a fuel mix. Our fuel system upgrade setup is performing as expected and we are very pleased.

We feel confident that the TTFS Dual Fuel Pump Upgrade is capable of sustaining above 600 whp. It is a retrofit of the S55 dual pump fuel system on the N55. It includes genuine BMW factory parts with a few TTFS upgrades. The dual fuel pump setup can benefit both stock turbos and upgraded turbos. Currently, the retail price will run just over $5K, plus shipping. TTFS is committed to working on additional variations of the TTFS Dual Fuel Pump System. We are proud to have teamed up with Xtreme-di “XDI” to develop enhanced variations of our upgrade that will meet the needs of a wider range of applications. We will announce more information on our joint products in the weeks to come.
We are processing and filling existing orders of the TTFS Duel Fuel Pump that will ship by January 26. Any new orders received should expect approximately two weeks delivery. Care to share some of this tireless research, and effort. Exactly what research, surely you would have some testing data, what does the system support on 100% E85, etc. This type of simple info would go a long way in helping people understand why this is $5000. You literally have a stock photo of the HPFP setup you can find on google, a picture of a car driving, and your logo. Not a single picture of the actual product? That's a tough sell

see everyone wants an upgraded hpfp for the n54 and early n55 and this is the reason Noone has made it happened, (I remember vtt telling me this on a different post) I mean 5k it's a lot of money for a fuel pump when there are ways areound it like PI and etc shit

The challenge lies more in the DME control and integration than the ability to pump x gallons of fuel per minute I believe.
$5k would be too much for most when PI can be had for under $1k

I think Tony has made the biggest progress in this area especially with controller for second pump. I think we need similar set up for N54 however maybe a simply larger pump would do but that is a lot of R&D but it would be sure worth 5k in my opinion. Considering N54 will remain a primary platform to make power on and popularity this should of been a designed for N54 rather than N55. I think it's a great product I really do but there's not going to be much market for it with PI for fraction of the price and more developments for it.

I'm never one to be a forum vendor cock block... But it appears to just be s55 parts adopted to an n55?? Am I missing something?
It expains the 5k price tag because that's what I would cost to make a profit using BMW parts...

Please point out what I'm missing...

I would recommend to anyone doing this upgrade to also invest in the max psi keyed crank hub while your in there. The s55 pump is probably the biggest cause of the crank bolt slipping issues.

How have you guys come to that conclusion. We have only had a couple and the fasta showed a money shift on both of them..
What did you guys find I'm intrigued

I would be shocked if they had any data to back that up. Crank hub issues are widespread across all the platforms, just lost one on another N55, guess what, it had the single rotary pump...

Yea I'm not sure the pumps are related but I'm all ears.. I think it has more to do with emmmm. How do you say.. a total piece if shit design..

Pumps are driven by a timing chain which is driven by the crank. The pumps also require a lot of force to drive them at full load. Take a look at the differences between the n55 and s55 that would effect this issue, damper, water pump, dual fuel pumps and rpm range (harmonics). Harmonics is interesting as it passes through the 2nd order, but I know of a couple s55’s that we’re limited in rpm to avoid this and still had issues. As far as issues across the board with n55 and n54, this is true but certainly not as much as s55, and rarely ever in stock form like many s55 reported failures.

So what is being done to electrically manage the second quantity control valve? The S55 and N55 DME's are the same hardware, but those 2 pins for the second control valve are disabled on the N55.

Have you found a way to enable it on the DME natively, or are you just Y'ing the cable and hoping for the best volume control / overfueling wise?

I'm at the limits of my HPFP right now and it sucks, I want more power, but this post leaves questions for me...
