This is the most legit car seat I've ever seen/owned. This thing is as heavy as a bag of dog food and has the rigid latch system which clamps into the fasteners in the rear seats. The bars that clamp are solid so the seat will not sway side to side or forward during an accident, even when the seat is unoccupied. The seat also reclines, so your child can actually sleep and it is the only car seat I've tried which fits in a coupe/vert that will allow me to secure the seat belt, as the bottom scoots out for the recline and makes room for the latch without rubbing on the seats, etc.
