Hit the rollers at BPC today
~80* day.

Mods:
- SpeedTech Kit
- Borg Warner Journal Bearing sxe364 T4 Twin scroll .91 a/r
- TIal MVR waste gate with 10 psi spring
- Motiv BoostBox
- BMP Port Injection Kit (750cc)
- AIC6
- DIY dual walbro 450s
- Xclutch Organic Twin Disk (Awesome!!!)
- Stock Exhaust
- @cd919 @chrisdfv tune
- Pump e85 from Sheetz
- 4th gear pull (MT)
- Edit, car made 68x whp on another local dyno on a few different occasions.

The timing is a little wonky. It's usually cleaner. Today was hot/humid.

I'm impressed with the kit in general. Install wasn't bad.
Jeff is very helpful.
I have ~2500 miles on it so far.
The 364 is a little laggy around town but doesn't disappoint from a roll.

Like how you still have stock exhaust. Sleeper haha. Nice number with just 21psi

It sounds like your bov spring is delayed? If so then your spring is probably too tight or you need to upgrade your bov line.

I think its dme logic for shifts. I have a 1/4 Bov line and soft spring

Never heard of that. My BOV is instantaneous on throttle release.

My BOV is very responsive. It rests fully open at idle so I'd guess the spring / boost reference is fine but I could be wrong.


My car had been behaving that way for a while even with stock turbos. Usually happens on after letting off in 4th.
Here's a shot of the behavior captured in the log from the dyno.
50% throttle at 0% pedal input.
9psi -+ target with negative timing.

I can't think of anything in my BIN that would cause that.

Maybe @jyamona knows?

Side note: sometimes the DME holds throttle open and cuts fuel/spark after tip out anticipating a shift and tip-in, thus the bov doesn’t go off. That’s why you see target stay positive despite no pedal

The screen shots above are from the same dyno run.

It looks like he was making 21psi at 4100rpms and that was around 450whp. Granted, that is ramping the timing in and with corrections running barely any timing. I'd think if he didn't increase boost another 7 psi, and kept it at 21psi, but had the timing come up the same way, I would think 600ish should be in the vicinity.

@WOT808, those timing pulls are pretty bad on full E85. Any idea what it came in at ehtanol wise from the pump? I wonder if they had a bad batch and was only in the E50 range.

How do you like the kit with this turbo? I'm on the waiting list, but am still undecided on what turbo I want to go with
I love the kit so far unfortunately I’m was only able to enjoy the kit on WG pressure for now due to my transmission telling me f... u... I’m done here lol! So right now im in process of building a PD unit! I daily drive my car And wish I would’ve went with a water cooler turbo just as safety and longevity reasons! But first of the price was quite bit higher and I couldn’t find to much info on our platform about spool, precision is a proven turbo quick spool and a lot of power and who doesn’t like quick spool and lots of powwwerrrr either way I don’t think you can go wrong with either of those turbos! Good luck my friend!

I measured E content with the Fuel It manual analyzer. The tank I had at the dyno day came back at a little over e85.
Maybe timing is just too high for the conditions.
My plugs are gapped at .026

Update:
Here's an overlay of flat 20psi target (red) and progressive target 28 psi up top (green/blue).
Turbo is maxed if not close to maxed.
