Update- gasket is blowing out everywhere on Vc. Anyone else having that happen?
No such issues here, my VC gasket is not pushed out. Sounds like you over torqued it possibly. If this was a boost issue (unblocked PCV ports and a PCV issue) I would expect to see oil vapor being pushed out as well. Any pictures?

I think at minimum you should have a valve cover breather installed.also if your removing the valve cover also then why not just plug the ports also.just few extra steps.its better to do it then then removing everything the next go round.

The cause of the gasket getting squished out is because over torque. When engine is hot aluminum will expand more over plastic. Make sure to use correct sequence and do not go past 5.2 FTLB

We torque 3.5FTlb on our Track car .

Isn't the stock torque 7 ft/lbs on the OEM hardware? Luckily I haven't torqued down the bolts yet but you may want to update this on your instructions sheet.

Stock cover is plastic does not expand as much as aluminum. Sorry I made mistake with the post its 5.2ftlb same as n52 magnesium cover. We did update the instruction. We run less because our engine gets really hot after 20 laps never had a leak.

I had to mess around with it a little and my -10 went in.

interesting.. what exactly did you do? it looks like the threads on the valve cover are larger pitch. The -10AN fittings don't go in more than 1 turn and it binds right away. I don't want to force it in and cause any damage or galling..

Pictures of your fitting threads ? They are 10an fits perfectly every time. It might be a challenge to get it going since the engine is in angle .

They're intended for 10AN ORB fittings, haven't tried using a regular 10AN but my radium ORB banjo fittings worked well.

I am using the -10AN and it won't thread in at all. Based on the photo above the threads do look different. Top is the catch can which the -10AN goes in no problem.

Looks like your threads to fine to be 10an . Here is a picture near Radium 10an 7/8 -14 .

Your looks more like 16 threads per inch you sure its not 8an
