Yeah it is insane how much this costs. I have seen it in the $400 range but still obscene. I went with Revshift 80A and Rogue transmission mounts...

There are a few threads stating to use the regular 335i mount (fluid filled) and your choice of passenger side to help with these costs. I am planning on swapping my Revshift driver side to reduce NVH...

Really leaning to the 034 mounts - 50 durometer rubber - I'm thinking best of both worlds right now for $100 each.....

Did they ever fix their horrible reliability? I thought 034 were the worst aftermarket mounts to use because they collapsed/tore within a few thousand miles?

My 034 were junk janketey pieces of crap.

I am very happy with my Revshift MMs

I tried that trick...does not help at all. I had revshift 80 and rogue transmission mount with driver stock. Nope.

I have a single 65 duro black forest stage 1 mount for sale at $100 plus shipping if anyone wants one. Much higher quality than revshift.

What did you end up with? A single BFI on passenger side with OEM driver side?

1. 335is mount passenger side
2. Regular 335i passenger mount on driver side. Plus 3M fill in all empty voids between the casing and the internal rubber.
Wait 12hrs before driving.

I would not pay for a 700 dollar iS mount. But there was a brief time when the iS mounts were 340. And that is when I bought mine.

DO NOT buy 034 mounts. Everyone who has had them has had them fall apart, me included with both sides coming apart .

I now use Turner Motorsports 60A mounts, much better quality and only a little added NVH with idle at 800

What I should have done was buy two iS mounts while they were cheaper. I tried to buy them again at $356 from 3 sellers and I got refunds within the hr because they were "out". That was a month ago.

034 failed on me too. I bought a single BFI stage 1 mount, figured it wouldn't be too bad since it was stage 1. I hate my car. HATE MY CAR. Rattle city. It's AWFUL. I am NOT sensitive to vibrations, but this is unbearable. Without raising the idle to at least 900, I wouldn't even drive this thing, and I only put about 5000 miles a year on my car. I'm really tempted to just go back to stock mounts for $40 and see how fast I break them. At least then the car wouldn't vibrate.

Sheesh. My Revshift mounts are extremely rattle-y as well. I also made the mistake of going with their transmission mounts thinking the DCT wouldn't cause much vibration... LOL... Rogue Engineering mounts are the only thing I recommend at this point.

The Revshift is tolerable with 900rpm idle but there are certain pulses that make every panel in my car vibrate. It's amazing how fast a luxury car feels like an abused taxi. The connected feeling is pretty awesome, however... just not in traffic.

OEM is for sure the way to go, if affordable.

This is very odd as I have the revshift motor mounts with a 900 rpm idle and no issues at all. No weird pulsing or vibrations everything is very smooth at 900rpm idle. Rogue engineering tranny mounts. Every other bushing is basically solid and or upgraded etc. Perhaps because I am not an auto/dct?

interesting! I certainly think manual has an easier time. If I could control engine with foot then I could “surf” the noise. Unfortunately sometimes the car does some weird RPMs.

I haven’t ripped out the Revshift like others with 034 or BFI but I would love a middle ground between OEM and what I have now. It sounded like half OEM and Revshift would be the ticket. Certainly cheaper than IS mounts.

Screw those trans mounts on DCT/AT tho 😂

@Lurcher good luck with decision. OEM is best. Try filling non IS OEM with the 3M filler posted above for least expense? Revshift as a possibility?

I just had a thought, as I have a manual w/ light weight flywheel I am never below 2k rpms because I shift to be above 2k. The 1k-2k rev range sucks with the light weight flywheel. I am always driving above 2k on the streets etc. Did this on twins and single.

The stock MM with the 3m window weld stuff might be the ticket then as far as a compromise. stiffer than stock but not like a revshift etc.

Trying to get in touch with the guy who did the "fill" video to see how this has held up. My car is pretty mild, and still enjoy some semblance of a "normal" ride. Seems like this would be perfect application for a poly insert. Not sure how it would stay in though. Probably aiming back at stock, may fill if this has been more than a temporary solution.

Thanks for everyone's input
