You have to extend the throttle body harness, map sensor adapter harness needs to be longer and tank vent line has to be extended
Doesn’t sound too bad I’d be willing to do that. In your opinion is it worth it?

Totally worth it but expensive, not going to sugar coat it.

If you want to extract every bit of power out of your n54 and smooth it out at the same time its ff style manifold or bust.

I have the EOS v2. The material will accept an anodization well even though its cast, mine is done black and I think it looks great. I also went with a bottom mount single as I prefer the stock location parts.

There is no point of arguing which one is best because at the end of the day it's what you can afford and anything is better that the stock rubbish within reason.

The best is viewed differently by the masses, so there is no real point.

I've done the results and posted them online its up to the individual to make the right decision as they will have to live with it at the end of the day.

I’m pretty set on stack location I don’t think it’s worth the effort for me personally to bother relocating everything for the ff since I’m staying twins (at least for now) I’m still trying to find out if I can get the m18 manifold as velocity stacks are very interesting to me but barring that I’m left with eos vs Phoenix still lmao

Unless your going to run a lot of boost stock location is fine
Ya I just read your thread going over the benefits of the fed. Since I’m doing an n53 head and cams my boost will be significantly lower than a single turbo set up which is why I was leaning towards stock location. That and figuring out how to do relocated inlets on a 535xi has given me a migraine lmao

Even though your running lower boost your flow requirements will be bigger, I would definitely run an ff style manifold in that case.

Its all about flow, with a stock head and cams its not really needed until you run big boost.

That is a very hood point I didn’t even think about that. It doesn’t make sense to have a ported head and not have better flow in the manifold

Plazmaman makes great stuff. I love mine. It's proven to work on high horsepower cars and it's a beautiful piece. But yes, it's expensive. If you're stuck on stock location then I personally would go with EOS over Phoenix. Mike at EOS is a good guy, machined in house so made in the USA, and great quality. He's running one on his built motor and there's no issues with it. If cost is an issue then you can't go wrong with Phoenix. BMS is also a great company.

When running a big head and cams you will need lots of flow and will have to be unrestricted.

You could always run the stock one for now if the funds not allow and get one later but it will cause twice the work if someone else is doing it
and cost you extra.

It’s really not the money more of having a tough time trying to figure out how to relocate the inlets to the passenger side on the 535xi 😂

Exactly I’m trying to find a way to relocate but there doesn’t seem to be a common way
If I find the post ill link it but I've seen people get away with just relocating the coolant reservoir and the ac line. You have to have a custom ac line made that goes around the other side of the engine from what I remember. I have seen a few single turbo guys get away with without relocating it though.

I’m willing to do some custom finagling but only to a point since I’m not even going single turbo (for now)

Can't help you guys with 535's as we never got any n54 ones in oz.

Wouldn't be to hard we got a bottom mount working with our rhd steering rack and steering shaft working , now that was a royal PITA.

I’ve heard the rhd is tough to get a single on

Extremely expensive to fabricate to the point of costing more than twice the cost than the price of your cars.
