So on those lithiumax batteries you need a special charger to keep them topped up out of the car... but the cars charging system has no issues charging them?

I already use a CTEK to keep my car topped up.

I would assume you can code the car to charge correctly?

(ps: if you find one of these in USA, will you let me know?)

There are a lot of lithium batteries available here. I'm just not sure how good they are. I found one that is for racing applications. It is the same size as the 535i battery but only weighs 13 pounds. It has that drain protection technology as well. Only 675 dollars.

Yeah the 100ah due early next year is around 600 dollars, last battery ill buy for a long time.

The current one will go into my race car when its finished
