Just did a muffler delete. Love it!

100 bucks labor at Midas. Plus 45 for the tip I bought at Summit.

There's plenty of youtube vids for sound reference.

I did not remove the resonator. So, I just have catless dp's, the resonator and straight out.

Damn! That's hardcore. I've wanted a Turner exhaust or similar... but the price hurts. Weight of exhaust is a bit extreme.

How does it sound? You like it?
I looked at those. Too costly. I really see no point in buying a custom exhaust when a muffler delete gives the sound I'm looking for.

I love the sound. Don't hear it too much with the windows up. There's no drone as I didn't delete the resonator.

There's tons of 535i/335i muffler delete sound clips on youtube you can search for.

Later I'm going to get an mtech rear bumper and run dual outlets out the back. Also not too pricey. Just involves cutting further back to put a y adapter in to create the split. There's no performance gain, just for looks and sound.

Very nice, I like your approach to the car and how you are saving money with it all.

I desire a resonator delete and that can be wild with volume increase. The 335is has some mufflers that are already plenty loud... I just want weight reduction. I WANT IT ALL :D :D

Excited to see it with dual tips!

Want to easily drop another 45lbs get a Lithiumax battery.

Smaller, 4x lighter and has more power than the factory AGM battery

Two things you have to do is cut the plastic tabs off the battery distribution block and drill four small holes.

You get a custom metal bracket which you have to mount, i just drilled 4 small holes in the plastic tray and put the bolts through and a nut to
hold them in place.

Then I used another nut to hold the mounting bracket down on each post.

Any problems with sub freezing starts and these new lithium batteries? Dunno if you have that kind of weather in Oz.

we had a few - 2 c deg or 28f mornings no issues

They have a German/Russian distributor, if anyone would have issues its them.

Unlike the previous lithium phosphate batteries if you discharge it below 8volts it stuffs them.

These new ones cut out once 8v is reached to save the battery but you will need a ctek charger or one of theirs to recharge it properly.

Wow. That thing is tiny! You could relocate it anywhere.

yep and it holds more power than that brick BMW calls a battery.

I'm actually thinking of moving mine and make an auxiliary fuel tank there

da fuq? Really?

I used to run Optima batteries back in the day for my car stereos and loved the increase of CCA... You are saying this lithium battery has same CCA as the 'break your back' battery?!

Yep 4x smaller same power 900ca 65ah

Battery technology has come a long way

🤯

That's incredible. I want to save weight in the _front_ of the car, but weight is weight.

Speaking of weight, I am trying to find an E92 M3 headliner so I can remove the sunroof and use an insert.

lol, for sure.

AUS is the land of the muscle car, ethanol dreams and a ripe car scene.

USA is the land of the land barges driving down the road. Cars are an appliance to 99% of people out there. :(

For when you have to outrun the cops an extra 200 miles. Lol

If I do that, I think the extra space in my 535i could benefit with an extra sub woofer. But..... putting extra stereo components in these cars with the optical data cables blows.
