My only concern is how close that oil line is to the turbine housing

I wouldn't be too concerned about that line. As long as it's not touching the turbine housing it'll be fine. The lines run very close to the manifolds and turbine housings on some of the other single kits I've installed with no issues.

More updates coming guys. We have the first few sets of piping ready for our pre-order customers to begin taking deposits and start putting these kits together to ship. Around 10-15 people on the list so far, so the response and interest has been excellent! We also have updated pricing for more turbo options we will be posting up as well as an updated list of interested and confirmed buyers.

Car performed very well at the Streetcar Takeover Event over here at Zmax Dragway this past weekend, but with an unfortunate ending where the car somehow lost traction and immediately went sideways the top of 4th gear and put us into a competitor car and then the wall at 130mph. Just glad we were both able to walk away from this incident and everyone is ok which is what matters most.

The CES Blue 335 shop car with our complete Gen2 Garrett GTX3582R turbo Kit was dialed in right at 700whp for the event. We competed in the 140 mph roll race 1/4 mile index class on Friday and the 11.0s 1/4 mile drag race index class Sat. The car performed flawlessly for the entire event with 8-9 clean passes right up until the last 1/4 mile run when the car broke loose. We were car #31 for the event.

The 1/4 roll passes were all within a few mph of one another and the car right out of the box was dialed in almost perfectly for the 140mph index. We participated in some test and tune runs which are the 4 wide timeslips, and then the 140mph index elimination round where we made it to the 2nd round and lost due to a missed shift in 2nd gear. As you can seen the car actually posted up a better trap than the competitor car in the 2nd run, but we just could not make up the distance in time to get the win. The 1/4 mile times are not accurate since this is roll racing and we started from the back of the track and got up to a 40mph roll hit at the tree. Only the mph was important and who made it to the end first for the roll racing.

For the 1/4 mile dig races the following day, the car did an 11.2 pass at 131mph with a 1.9s 60' it's first pass down the track during shakedown testing. The first round Elimination we again missed 2nd gear, but managed to still pull out the win with an 11.6 @ 132.7mph. The last pass with the incomplete timeslip is when we lost the car on the backend, but as you can see, we managed a 1.8s 60' and 7.1s 1/8 mile at almost 104 mph which would have put us on point for a high 10 second pass and most likely knocked us out of the index, but proves just what this kit is capable of with 700whp on a stock motor. We actually crossed the 1/4 marker in the opposite lane crashed into the wall at 11.2s Just a shame it had to end the way it did, and we are very lucky it was not any worse. The car did it's job blowing all 3 airbags and saving me from an even harder hit. Both drivers walked away without a scratch. Obviously a very bummed out situation and our thoughts go out to the other car and driver as well. Totally unintentional and a first for us in over 20 years of racing bimmers, but that's racing for you sometimes and part of the risk we take on when we push these cars to the limits.

Things happen and it was so unfortunate to watch, but glad everyone walked away ok. It was such a good race! Your car was performing excellent all weekend.

Still not sure how it swerved so hard, so fast.

Very sad to see this happen. That was a beautiful car. Glad you're okay.

This kit looks awesome! That crash was crazy. Pretty wild how quickly it just cut to the left. Glad to hear you are both ok!

Unfortunately I've almost completed the install and hadn't taken pictures. The install is pretty straight forward. I was working on a two post lift with an engine support bar. I just slid the steering rack out and lowered the suframe without removing it. Removed the old turbos, intake tubes, wastegate solenoids etc... Plugged the unused oil and coolant ports. Replaced the exhaust manifold studs with longer studs. mounted the coolant pipe to the block. Mounted the turbo to the ces manifold with the coolant lines attached. Installed as one unit. Toughest part is installing a few of the nuts. The oil and coolant pipes are pretty easy to access. Then installed the wastegate loosely for adjustment to the recirculated exhaust pipe. Then the downpipe install. Next came the new engine mount bracket. Moved the coolant expansion tank to the drivers side. And mounted the mac solenoid and hoses to the wastegate. Still working on a few odds and ends. Need to mount the coolant hose to the water pump and install the intake tube. Wire the low coolant sensor to the drivers side. Install a catch can and RB pcv kit. I'll snap a few pics when I get back to the shop.

That's too bad, because this isn't even a thousand words.
