2018 BMW 540d has been certified for US sale

It looks like the B57 will go on sale in the US in the form of the 2018 540d, priced at $62,995 in February. There is also a 328d, but that car only runs the 2.0L diesel power plant, and the x5d, but once again in a 5 series frame. I suppose the 335d is the last 3.0L diesel we'll find in a 3 series chassis for some time.

Shame too - the 3 series chassis is perfect for a 3.0L diesel engine, although it will be interesting to see if the B57 responds to tuning like the M57/N57 has.

I assume you meant B57, I originally wrote B58 as well but that is the gas motor

I am guessing that this isn't their quad turbo version, I find it interesting they have done this. I wonder how many variations there are, 1, 2, 3, 4 turbos?
