The build is spot on. The fit and finish are BETTER than stock. I thought the bolt holes were too loose, but it is the exact same as the stock oem pulley bolt holes so no worries. Same weight as stock pulley. Feels ultra smooth and quiet and no issues at all WOT in terms of belt damage or anything. Torqued at 21 Nm each bolt (x3) with blue loctite.
Gives me peace of mind because even as I replaced the other two month old stock oem power steering pulley, I saw that the plastic 'newish' pulley already had visible wear signs just from two months of usage. It would have failed again in the first year.
This aluminum one is spot on fit and rock solid. I think it may be the last power steering pulley I ever buy for this car, unless there is some unknown force that manages to distort the aluminum as doublespaces had mentioned. But I seriously can't see that happening. We will see. Another one year review will come.
