Power steering pulley question

Hello all,

2007 e92 335i



So I am replacing all my pulley's and belt as maintenance. I have the electromechanical power steering so am I correct to assume that there is no pulley for it? Or is it like a dead pulley in its place?

I searched the forums and google but could only find posts that pertains to hydraulic power steering pulleys.

Any and all helps is appreciated! Thanks in advance~

As far as I know, the only N54 engined car that had electric steering was in the E89 Z4. Are you sure you don’t have hydraulic power assisted steering?
