The Splitter and the Wing are --- wow -- just wow :D
Are the Splitter and Wing attached/mounted to the chassis?

May be you have seen the thread on 1addicts already. But engineering wise this is the greatest thread i have read in forever i think regarding aero of a 1-series.


With just the front splitter and that empty rear you are missing HUGE on downforce. With your room you can make an AWESOME diffusor on the rear and improve grip to the next level.

Also check Jackie Ding (PHD Racing) on youtube. He has built a crazy TA Supra.


There are some crazy informative videos about closed undertray and also wing.

Yes, they are mounted to the chassis (including front splitter side support rods). Wing was tested at 210km\h speed. One man can hang on one side of the wing. Also I can stand on splitter easily (110kg).
I was reading fe1rx's thread some months ago.
Will do flat floor and rear diffuser this winter. Also planing to make one-piece front (bumper, fenders, hood) and modify front splitter.

Really cool car!

But why did you make all the arms yourself? Because you can? Were they in the end cheaper for your? Custom Spec? I am amazed of those parts tbh.

If i read right, stock turbos with MHD Stage x?
You have no thermal issues on warm days? I make one lap on the nordschleife and my car is overheating with yellow engine light on 14psi.

Yes, stock turbos and no limp mode. I ran 20-30 min session with no cool down laps in 25C ambient temperature.
But now stock turbo died (WG). I'm planing to install RB game finishers.

Had no time to race much last season.
Preparations for next year are underway. S55+DCT is already inside.

That S55 is a great improvement, was the N54 giving tomuch hurdles?

Pardon my ignorance, so by stock do you mean you brought over the s55 ECU for now?
Yes, I have all wiring, dashboard, almost all units from s55.
To use MaxxECU I need direct injection conversion. I decided not to do it in this season. May be later.
