That is really really really good for a modified car on standard market insurance. For us if you ask standard market insurance they'll tell you to go F yourself even if you have an intake. If you go facility it will be $5-$10k/year depending on driving history and mods. If you go car collector then it's really cheap if you get accepted about $500-$1000 per year.

Now my other insurance on other cars is another story I've been hit whilst parked 6 times in the last 5 years.
I'm at a point when we go shopping one sits in the car or park in a such a location where it's impossible to get hit.

Btw did you upgrade the rod bearings and throttle body actuators before doing the engine swap?
Talked to a few mechanics and engine builders here in oz about the rb issue.
They said the only ones that fail is if you follow the BMW service intervals.
Change the oil every 7500km or 5000miles with the Castrol 10w60 supercar oil and
you wont have any issues especially on such a low 24k mile engine.
I'll change them when it reaches 80k miles otherwise its just a waste of money.
Got a spare engine I'm building so eventually we'll pull it out and keep it as a spare backup.

Yes but the 1m/m3 is not a proper lsd and we weren't taking any chances when we are aiming for 1000hp + on the single turbo setup.

I really liked the cf but this looks so much nicer.
The car is coming along nicely.
Have a shot of buying a cf brake package, really trying to justify it but its hard, wouldn't it be nice not to have any more brake dust or rust on the rims coming of the rotors.
