[ Editing, as the issue I was experiencing, later in this thread, was self induced. The PR coils perform as expected & advertised, especially when common sense is applied. My initial installation of the parts was without tune-up grease, which caused arcing inside the plug boots. All 6 of the plugs installed with the new coils showed signs of arcing.

TL;DR - Use dielectric (tune-up) grease on your new plugs and inside the new plug boots when installing ANY new plugs (and/or coils and/or boots and etc).

Today the car is running 26-27 psi, at WOT is as smooth as can be & pulls quite nicely. ]

I'd been experiencing some slight ignition breakup at WOT on new-ish stock coils & NGKs @ .021, the PR coil kit along with some new NGKs gapped @ .031 resolved the issue. Car is smooth as silk and makes me smile again. Install was a breeze, the plug and play connectors are pretty nice.

Nicely done PR.

That's a pretty big gap, what boost/fuel?
This is the thing I JUST DON'T GET about the ignition system. If you read around in various places, people are running between 0.018" to 0.032" gaps, citing happy camper land. Yet general advise tends to be 0.022" or less.

@Narcosis can you do us a favor and post a couple logs on datazap where you do a WOT pull in 3rd from 2k to 6k? I'd love to see it, if not too much trouble and you're willing to share.

Nice. I suspected at 26psi you’d have upgraded turbos. Good luck. Keep an eye on those timing corrections and report back regularly. I’m eager to start at 0.031 too with new NGK 95770 plugs on my stock turbos.

Actually the timing corrections seemed to be almost irrelevant. That graph looks pretty clean?

Looks really clean right now. Going forward if timing corrections get worse he may be heading for misfires.

I'll share some more logging when I get the chance, perhaps Friday.

The timing correction in 2 & 5 have been there since the first time I logged post JB4 install in 2013.

Thats so weird, I had to gap my 97506 plugs down to like .020 to get them to stop misfiring on PR coils. PS2 @ 27psi E85.

Can you share a datazap to a few pulls? This is exactly what I'm talking about ...

Interesting. What was your gap with the stock coils, and which plugs were you using? What gap did you start with when installing the PR coils? The 97506 are 2 steps colder than stock, correct? I'm using 95770.

Every car is in different conditions. I have mine gapped at .026 with no issues. Had them at .030 for a week before started to misfire. BL Coils.

Literally every part of my car, transmission, lsd, brakes...sensors...all of it are almost brand new - replaced. engine, turbos, etc...and I do my own walnut blasting. stage 3 lpfp...etc.

I started at .03 then .025 then .02 did the trick. Yeah 97506 are 2 steps colder. stock coils had the same gap but i was on 95770

I guess I got lucky and was able to solve all my misfire problems by gapping my 97506's to 0.26.

21psi CA91 conservative tune atm

That's so odd. I've never had a misfire on BL running stock N20 plugs with the .03 gap they came with. Are you ST?
