The devil is always in the details. Forward facing manifolds are not new or unique to one company, and I believe the Chinese manufacturer of the Sharp manifold was actually the first to make one for the N54 anyways. FF made an awesome manifold, but saying any other FF manifold is a knockoff is like saying PR hotside inlets are a knock off of BMS DCI's because you remove the stock intake box and have two cone filters. This is basically a FabFactory manifold knock off from sheet metal. Lets just put it out there LOL

... we optimised this manifold for the n54 motor and should see significant gains in the mid and top end, so it doesn't fall over like it does now after 6000rpm...
Do you own 1 of the 25 FF manifolds that were produced? Cause if you are looking at the "details" then it is more than obvious.
Attaboy. That's smart thinking. It will have the injector bosses there but not drilled out for people that dont want to run pi like myself and lots of others.
You could get them drilled and tapped for port meth easily.

Is there really that much optimization you can do on a forced induction car? If it were NA I would think runner length and plenum size would be a big deal, but in our cars, doesn't the cam and cylinder head profile dictate the power curve?
Biggest thing is less weight, less weight less heatsink, less heaksoak more power earlier.
No way it's going to be lighter than the stock manifold and I don't believe it's beneficial to have a giant heatsink warming up the charge air.
