So I am the kind of guy who wants to do all the work to my car that I can. I have done all the upgrades to my Z4 so far, but one territory I have never really touched is suspension. I recently purchased a front and rear coilover set and although the fronts look very straight forward I cannot seem to find information to answer the following question:
The E89 Z4 has separate shocks and springs for the rear. The aftermarket kit I had made is a dual spring coilover. So when installing a coilover do you remove the rear spring and leave it out? If not, what spring should you use? OEM? (I currently have lowering springs installed)
Thanks for the advice!

*edit, may be a non-issue. It is becoming apparent that the manufacturer did not send the proper rear setup.
