Less than 100 miles, probably less than 50. Head lifted and decided to ls swap. Also attached a pic of specs we ran for those curious about ptw.
Asking 1800 shipped.

Head lifted? Don't mean to derail but did you document your issue elsewhere?
No sir. Just dont use helicoils. Couldn't find info on how to properly do it and was assured doubling up on thread engagement of helicoils would be fine. It was not. So instead of dumping more money into a dead platform that pisses me off, just gonna swap it.

Haha not a big forum guy or build thread person. Just a major lurker. Im the type of person to get it done in a week/weekend and go out racing, and nobody really knows about it. My hands are always dirty and i dont even think about taking pictures or the patience lol!

It'll just be a fully built 6.0 with a whipple and t56. Eventually I'll slap the 8.8 i bought in. Same ole same ole.

Since you're interested. Fire ring wasnt happy.

Eww. I'd be happy with a parts list. Not many folks have gone LS on this platform. Might really help someone out later on!

damn crazy, you selling your head? is anything done to it?
Could. Needs the fire ring machined smooth where it expanded out. Stock, just a small cleaning of the ports to smooth the casting out. Nothing crazy.

I apologize if I'm missing something obvious from the photos, but is this the "classic" CP/carillo combination most run when doing rods and pistons? I blew a hole in my stock block and when I toss a new one in would like to at least go with rods/pistons, and this seems like an excellent deal if so.

Yep. The only difference is stock is 84mm. I went with 84.5mm cause my stock pistons wore a groove in my #6 bore from a bent rod.

Sorry to hear you had issues, did you do this yourself or did you have an installer?

Cool, thanks for the clarification. I knew they were slightly oversized and same CR, but I'm far from an expert on recognizing brands on aftermarket internals based on looks lol. I may just have to have a talk with the fiance and hope these stick around for another week or two, but even if the cards don't fall in my favor good luck with the sale! Whoever does buy these is gonna be lucky.

A friend of ours who owns a machine shop did the bottom end work, i did the rest/top end. Hes LS based, so this was something unique to us.

They'll more than likley be here lol, wrapped up in a box. Not many people peak interest in used internals. Which is understandable. I appreciate it though! If they sell, it'll cover rods and crank for my 6.0! Hopefully shes okay with it haha!

@DCook

I had my Cylinders Bored to take 84.5mm Pistons on BMW n54 335i

Did you use stock 1.125mm thick 84.mm bore Head Gasket ?
or
85mm Bore Head Gasket ?
or
Which Head Gasket did you use ?

did you have any other issues besides Head lifting ? Did you have Stripped Threads and used the HeliCoil Inserts?

Trying to get as much information as possible as my Block is at a Machine Shop as we Speak

Any and All information would be Greatly Appreciated

Thanks
