Enjoying seeing the journey with your hatch. Did you do any coding with the traction control stuff? .

Well the car is out of the basement and coming together, should see it running by the end of next week at the latest.

Then to tint the windows which I hate but its to hide the roll cage thats getting built and velo race seats that I'm installing.

Project sleeper is almost done.

I'll get some pics tomorrow as the engine should be dressed by then.

She is home and already had 2 oil changes sub 100km.

One when it reaches full temp, 2nd oil change after a 30 min dyno run in.

Now I'll do 400km and another oil change this weekend.

Purring like a pussy cat.

My engine builder is amazing and thanks to Advan helping me put it back together as I'm to busy with
the family business atm working 12hrs/6 days a week.

She is dirty as a pig and needs a bath this weekend, might swings past the local car show tomorrow.

People were in awe and disbelief by this little hatch tonight.

Judges were blown right out of the water and I had a small crowd around the car most of the night.

Need to tidy up the car but the aim is to be a total sleeper, can't be like the 1m3 as it has to fly under the radar and destroy egos.

First car show and top engine bay, nowhere up to my standards but everyone loved it but will be back and better next time.

look like the hatch is going to get raided for parts and engine for my new project and will revisit this build at a later stage.

Just got hold of a 19k mile 135i in immaculate condition but its missing a lot of parts as I got it as unfinished project that hasn't seen the light
of day since 2012.

Looks like we are going to put the 1m motor in this out of the hatch and going to install my new s65 in it temporarily until we rebuild, stroke it to 4.4L and supercharge it for the 1m3.

Going to use the hatch as a development car to test products and engine builds.

Hopefully the 135i vin lock gets lifted by this weekend by the authorities so I can finally register it, stupid airbag recall. I got the new airbag fitted today, that will finally allow me to start the v8 swap on the hatch.

To many projects going on but finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Not taking on anymore customers cars as I need a break, concentrate on my primary business and my hobbies.

The towing company ripped out the lower control arms out of the subframe during recovery of the doner car that's why I have to repair it.

These things are hard to find at the right price.

Ok finally got a new starter motor and work will begin in a few weeks, still waiting on a brand new subframe to be delivered.

The 1m3 is getting a host of upgrades and the 120i will get all the low km bits donated that are left over like the subframe and
other bits and pieces.

Its good to have 3 x 1 series cars as all the parts are interchangeable and makes upgrades cheap.

Still waiting on my mate to get all the electronics together as the doner cars ones were toast.

At least the mechanicals are low km like 65k miles so that's a bonus.
