Has anyone found out if these turn off when the ignition is off? Or does it need to be unplugged?
Also, If you connect to the module, can you connect to a second wifi network or are you limited to one connection?

Thanks

Big +1. Can these be left plugged in to the OBD?

Speculation, but usually the OBD2 port provides power even with the car off, it might go into a low power mode, though. I believe leaving my bimmergeeks cable plugged in all the time gives me a power management code, but I've never had it kill the battery.

More interested in hearing if these can be used for xhp, protool, etc.

The red LED stays on when left plugged in. But i can tell you that ive left it plugged in for days and a coupleweeks at a time with no issue. I guess it helps if you dont already have an aged battery, but i havent seen any codes on my N55 or B58 supra. I don't recall seeing any on my N54 either, but i cant remember for sure on the n54

Flashing with the MHD Wi-Fi is terrifying the first time but DAMN its fast.

With flashing this fast I find flex fuel unnecessary especially when you can do this whilst checking your tyres as I only use e85 maybe once or twice a year.

Less things to go wrong, simplicity is key.

Quick delivery, thank you @Twisted Tuning

On a side note, when I went to changed my mhd wifi password by visiting http://192.168.4.1/wifi/wifiAp.html

I noticed some settings like the cpu speed. Has anyone messed with those?
I posted earlier in the thread about it . It makes no difference probably just increases consumption . I assume it's their because this is not specific hardware so if it was used as a router or gateway it could be beneficial to have higher speed. In this application polling rate of the canbus is the limit though.
