I mean, that literally looks just like the On3 ad Tyler stated, shall we even begin to discuss, single scroll V-Band top mount? I guess this would be fun if you want power from 5300-7K....

maybe there is something i'm missing, but how the hell is 6500 for a low quality single turbo kit with a non brand name turbo (probably chinese crap) a good deal even including a labor? Why would this company price this at 6500 in their right minds?

You could get a high quality kit such as a Doc Race kit, with a name brand Precision ball bearing turbo, for $5100-5300 depending on the turbo size, and right now they are offering free ceramic coating. Even if you opted for the more expensive turbo, at 5300$, that's 1200 bucks cheaper than this kit at 6500, so factor in an average rate of 100$ an hour for labor that gives your mechanic 12 hours to install the kit to make it even priced.

For the same price you could have a ceramic coated, precision ball bearing turbo, Doc Race kit installed.

How is this a good deal?

That's a local shop in Orlando. They have put out some stupidly fast cars esp Hondas and Evos. I'm wondering why they are slinging On3 kits now....

I wouldn't call On3 low quality, I've not heard any problems with it. They just come paired with cheapo turbos and non-brand name parts.

Here in Denver we have a company V.I. Engineered (Jon Vigil) who is a fab legend offering his Garret GTW 3884 Kits for $4700 + $1500 install at his shop. The same place they build 2000ehp vettes and GTRs.

So $6300 basically for a Top Mount Kit that is a known Garret and some of the best welds you've seen. Im buying that kit this winter and having him install it too.
