Ok folks, I noticed there are so few videos on n63 x5 50i e70 generation on Youtube. So I went and bought one to use for work purposes both in my filming work and also as content source for my BMW Channel on Youtube. It was so bad that I could not even find a single video on simply thing like changing the ambient air temperature stick. Anyways, for any n63 owners, hold tight for upcoming diy on this notorious model.

OK, I just bought the brand new xHP x5 50i e70 stage 1,2,3 packs. Installed the stage 2. It's all jacked up in Houston right now until Friday with all this icing up and snow so I can't even drive the car yet to adapt it for 100 miles. But once I do, I will post a review.
I read somewhere a few guys bent their rods using stage 3 for their x5 50i because the engine revved too high. I hope that doesn't happen on stage 2. How strange that they would even allow that to happen. Oh well, it's literally revision 1 for the x5 50i right now so we shall see how quickly they update with new revisions based on reports of issues from users.

You're bored so you bought a car with an engine guaranteed to have problems? N54 wasn't enough? 🤣🤣🤣

Time to update the meme

The EMP/VTT/MMP are the best, and for a good reason.

That N54 was perfected and it stopped giving me any issues for an entire year... had to move on to the next problem child. That's what men do... we beat problem children into perfection, we take shits with the door open, we gamble on credit cards, that's what we do, we're men...that's what we do.

The nominal power level for that N54 was around 653 whp safely with the PD transmission unit, working so smoothly at all idle and throttle levels and shifting so smooth, you'd think it was completely stock until you pushed the pedal down to the floor. I really wonder how much I can get this x5 50i up to after years of perfecting weakpoints and upgraded internals... this will be another journey, stay 'tuned'.... <---- see what I did there?

What are you gonna be using for tuning software?

I'll take a look at the Vids when I am watching the kids. Link to your Channel?
OK, this is the first N63 video I just filmed and edited today - Saturday morning. It's how to change the high pressure fuel sensor. I tried to find videos on this and there was literally none on Youtube or Google. So here it be for the BMW N63 community.

OK, here is a video of changing the front differential on the x5 50i e70 without having to cut an allen wrench to make a custom tool for accessing the damn fill plug. With fluid type tips for model years as well as capacity reminder - do not overfill the front differential on the e70 x5. It takes 600mL exactly.

I just deleted my back seats and third row...it was a s.o.b. to remove the third row seats. So both rows weighed total of about 300lbs. How insane is that? Anyways, will post diy soon.

Also did transfer case and differential with cut allen wrench technique just to show the alternative option in addition to the first video about how to change front differential fluid without cutting allen keys.
