I have had my eye on this for some time, and finally found it.
Installation was pretty simple and straightforward, around 1 hour.
The sound is pretty normal, only when you step on it you hear a howl, but I haven't tested it to the max jet.

Very nice. I went looking for one of these but could never find one at a price point that interested me. Where did you end up getting yours?

Found it in the UK it was the last one they had, and yes it was too expensive. But I love the look and sound. šŸ˜Š

I guess you can still use inlets with this. The filter area might be a bit small compared to two DCI. Does look nice vs driver's side DCI flopping around.

I have the feeling that the smaller amount of air that comes in is compensated bij the fact that you don't get the heated air from the engine bay. But I don't have the possibility to check that assumption.šŸ¤

That's actually been mostly proven false by Dimitri@BQ ... though I think we were all somewhat amazed at that.

IMHO if one is running significantly more power, more air is required. The Z4 intake over the front core support is quite restricted in my opinion. Looks like the Gruppe M intake over the core support has a larger cross section? Much larger than stock?

Yeah... got to be a cross over point between more hot air and less colder air.

Just not something that can have a universal answer I am afraid.

I am making a educated gues, around 1 1/ 2 times the cross section. Plus I am aiming for around 450 horses at the engine, so I don't need as much air as your bild with 600. Ps great bild, have been going thru what you did.šŸ¤© respect.
