Hey all, I'm having an intermittent issue that I'm wondering if anyone has encountered. Randomly my car will chime and the position indicator on both the shifter and cluster will blink, sometimes the lights on the shifter will stop illuminating. Seems to happen more in manual mode while using the shifter, but has happened when using the paddles as well as cruising in sports. I'm assuming its a wonky position sensor or shifter away. Just wanted to pick your brains before I dig in. Thanks in advance!

yea its intermittent for sure. I had scanned it before and no dtc's were set. ill have to keep my laptop with me and see if i can catch it when it happens. Thanks
I have not yet but will. I am a tech for ford and had used a solus but will get the BMW software
