Hey guys ,

Had a fast question to see if anyone has had this issue happen to them. Intermittently my car will be idling fine then all of a sudden hiccup like a misfire , afr goes lean (up to 18s) runs a bit rough then all of a sudden a couple moments later fix itself and run like nothing ever happened. All the logs with my tuning on WOT are completely fine . I’m going to attach a log where I caught it , the only thing I see that’s off is that fuel trims get maxed out while it happens. I did see in some options of MHD that it has a “AFR oscillation fix” I’ve been trying to figure out what that actually fixes but cant really find anyone using it . Thank you in advanced !

Ryan

Judging by your log there is no electronic that is logged or a fuel related problem.

Looks like one of your sensors might be taking a dump which are not logged, you'd have to monitor all the sensors with one of the bmw tools
to work out the issue.

MHD is a great tool when everything is running right and to diagnose basic problems but that's about it.

Hey , any idea what sensor could be going bad? Going through the forums I’ve seen some similar symptoms be caused by a bad /weak throttle body .

Also which bmw program is most used to see everything ?
