Good luck with the fueling. If you can make it work more power to you but I have a feeling your HPFP will hate life

I use it only for mixing with 93 octane since I can’t get E85 in my area any more. Never tried it straight up.

Less may well be more. Higher ethanol content gives a lower autoignition temperature that may not be offset by the latent heat of vaporisation. Combine with higher boost and/or leaner lambda because you are no longer knock limited and you could have preignition.

In theory if you can burn a higher proportion of ethanol, you can generate more power from every pound of air in the cylinder.
But in reality I doubt you'll make much more power than E50. Not enough boost and rpms.

DSM guys run 45+ psi on e85, if you want big power build the head and spin to the DME hard limit of 81xx RPM. If you want more, go syvecs. lol

Where do you buy from? And does it get delivered?
Jake,
I buy 5 gallon cans of VP Racing Fuel E98 from K & G Speed Associates, 2343 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA (behind Nicholas Smith Trains). ‭Call first to make sure they have it in stock (610) 359-1616‬. Last time I purchased it was about $40 cash ($8/gallon). You may also want the dispensing tube to avoid splashing: VP Racing Fuels 3044 Deluxe Filler Hose https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005G5R5LQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ubfcBbJY02GJ9
I think VP would deliver the cans, but it’s very pricey.

Thanks Jeff! May need to start doing this or ordering 50 gallon drums. I don't mind picking up 5 gallon cans though.

Not sure if you ever heard of these guys, they used to have an e98 pump I would fill barrels from. From my understanding other stations complained & town gave them issues, but we're trying to open elsewhere. You may be able to setup a wholesale account or something.

The exxon on 202&1 has e85 again, it actually tested as e87 yesterday. I have 2 55gal drums of sunoco e85r at home in case they have issues again
