Pulled my trans last night to replace my slipping clutch. FBO Car with 45k miles. Found the disc to be in good shape. PP also didn’t look to bad. I am replacing the clutch with a 335is unit. My flywheel looked great (no heat marks and the machining grooves are present). I did notice a lot of movement turning the dual mass and was wondering what the spec is. I watched a few YouTube videos shoring how to test a dmf but I could not find any on the n54 specifically. Would hate to put everything back together to find out my dmf has worn out! And no I don’t want to go SMFW because of the noise. Had one on my 996tt and couldn’t stand the noise but then again it was a super light aluminum unit.
