Does anyone know how to get a hold of EOSpeed? We have tried everything with no response. We need to buy the modification and bracket today!

Everything back together and pedal feel is nice and solid. I'll go for a nice back road hoon in the morning to bed in the brake pads :) I need to get my wheels refurbished now as the new calipers highlight how bad they are!

As is, they are ok. There is maybe 2-3mm of play in the bracket mount, ill get some spacers/washers to get rid of this, supposedly a common issue with aftermarket lines

Probably been answered before but will the 370mm fronts work with 18in wheels?
Or anyone done the 370mm on a 1er?

Yes, there are quite a few OEM BMW 18's that fit over 370mm rotors/calipers, they can be found by searching through the F30 performance brake post on e90post. Also, most if not all Apex 18's will fit over the 370mm according to what Apex told me.

Nearly done with my install, only issue so far is the connection of the new Goodridge lines to the factory hard lines has a bit of play. ill need to get some washers or something to secure it better, i just need to bleed the brakes and go test them out

There should be a washer(thin) between the bracket and the stainless line tube nut, that's how ECS and stop tech are.

Has anyone heard of the tie rod ends scraping on the rotors? I removed my dust shields thinking that might be the issue but now the sound is more thunky or clunky, before it was a clicking/clacking and now it seems more solid. This is inline with the tie rod end making direct contact with the dimples on the rotor rather than rubbing on the dust shield.

I can't prove the rods are rubbing the rotors directly, but I do know for sure there was contact when the dust shields were there:

I ordered eccentric bushings and new e60 rotors so my rears are finally going on.
I've had the fronts on with the M£ master cylinder for a while with no issues
@doublespaces I recall that you have an M3 steering rack .... And the penny has JUST DROPPED for me at least.
IN PeterY's track toy with a licence plate thread he fitted an M3 rack but shortened the tie rod ends and for the life of me i couldnt figure out why he would do that ... i mean no where else did i see that done(doesnt mean it hasnt happened) Its likely why your having your issue and no one else does. The M3 rack or tie rods are likely a different length

Hi guys, I ordered this kit for rear breaks install from 55parts.de and they claim that it works with OEM rotors, if I understand correctly. Is it possible?
Thanks

How did you fix this? Mine is hitting the shield, which is pressing to to the rotor.

I have the tie rod hitting the shield. Nobody else had this issue with a stock e90? I will remove the shield and see if it clears the rotor but it looks like it won’t

I forget what happened but the problem I'm having is still present even with no dust shields.

I think it's related to my m3 steering rack. Sometimes I hear it thunk when I make a sharp turn. Might have been damage before I got salvaged. Otherwise, maybe wheel bearings.

As to this issue, I do recall the scraping but I don't recall ever finding a solution. Just know I removed the shields. Maybe I'll go back under and take a look.

I do have aftermarket tie rods. Combined with the M3 steering rack and the F30 breaks, God knows what's going on.

I am stock rack and tie rods. I am lowered on dinan springs and koni actives. I think I will first try and cut the shield where the contact is. Then I’ll try removing. Lastly grind the tie rod a little. Not sure I can live with it hitting the rotor

First I'd try to deform the shield with a pry bar or two, to deal with the noise - just because that's easy to do. Next I'd remove the shield as it serves no particularly great purpose.

I don't know why the tie rod would actually hit the rotor - it's a fixed distance and not much flex there.

There is no play on the shield between the rotor and tie rod at that point. It will be very close. I’ll give it a shot
