I have the 370/380 blue version from euro 330d so it’s not an exclusive colour to the f80. I believe they were blue if it was factory installed and the red/orange/yellow applies to dealer installed
To my knowledge this is spot on. BTW 370/380 mm rotors will have nothing to do with wheel clearance. And while you may run an 18" not all wheels are the same when it comes to design so when it is close, it's something you'll have to fit and try.

Yes, since it seems no one can confirm I may have to undertake the endeavor myself. Another forum member has claimed that 193s do NOT fit and frankly I don't really have a reason to doubt him. Said only the 340mm versions will clear Stock 193s but and looking at my 335i stock 348mm brakes, I don't know why I would feel the need to go smaller just for the look. Regardless there doesn't seem like very much room in there for bigger brakes at all....

Looks like this project will sit in mod-limbo for the time being.... again lol

Apex makes 17'' wheels that clear 'proper' BBKs like Stoptech and Brembo etc. on E9x. Not saying they will clear this combo but if anyone has a 17 that will clear it it would be Apex. The advantage is obviously a very light weight wheel and some sidewall. The new line of Apex wheels are pretty sweet. I may be ditching my heavy ass 19'' BBSs for them.

They key I believe is not using 380mm rotors but 355mm. With 380 you have to have an 18'' rim. I'll take 17s and 355mm over 18s and 380mm rotors.

hello guys, really apreciate your effort put in this thread.
Situation is the following: e93, 330i, style 220, 18inch. As far as I read and understand (lack of mechanical skills level 999 here), i could do bolt on the 370mm disc with the 370/380 mm caliper righthave any ? what about the back should I search 340mm? or do I have any bolt-on solution for 370mm?

Thanks in advance for taking your time with a mechanical noob :)

For the 370mm front rotors, no caliper bracket is required, the 370/380mm caliper will directly bolt on. Brake lines would still be e93. I’m not sure if style 220 would fit clear.

Not sure about the back as I’ve only done the front calipers.

The blue M2/3/4 370/380mm calipers do not fit in style 193 18" wheels. I tried it :) No amount of shaving the caliper can make them work. However, my other set of JapanRacing SL01 18" fits the perfectly with ample space left

As for the rears, I am currently working towards installing the M2/3/4 rear calipers with the 370mm disk. For this I've sourced e9x M3 rear knuckles. The caliper are bolt on (verified), but need some spacing to center on the disk. I am still to measure the spacer width, but my research shows it should be 7mm - can anybody confirm? StreetLegit do sell a spacer, but its too troublesome to order it from the EU and it should be easy enough to make locally.

To why I chose the M3 rear knuckle route...

StreetLegit garage offers an adapter that fits the 335i rear knuckle to mount the M caliper and 370mm disk. However, it requires 135i wheels hubs. The adapter itself is 200 usd before shipping and import charges to the EU. In addition it downsizes the bolts and generally adds stuff to the system, when the M3 knuckles offer basically OEM fitment with a simple spacer and a longer standard sized bolts. The slightly wider track is a bonus :)

The M3 knuckles cost me only 250€ for both, hubs included plus 40€ per bearing (best to change them while convenient). That is basically the price of the adapter delivered, plus around 100-150€ for new 135i hubs - no point getting them second hand.

Anyone can advise the distance from the rear bbk caliper to the edge of rear rotor hat?

Thank you.

Got ahold of some MPerformance Blue Calipers from an F30 and trying to find the info for the eccentric bushing, do you still have anything on that?

Thanks for all the info @doublespaces this was very helpful in piecing together my setup. Waiting on parts now but I will comment for those future reference.

I purchased them through VYS Garage, still waiting on them but I'll update once they arrive. He's active on Youtube with some videos about the setup and Facebook, here's his ebay link:
