Update: The shop that did my install called and let me know what has happened. Rear Turbo seal blew because the VRSF inlet that was only a few weeks old had collapsed. Shawn from DAW replaced the Turbo anyway, free of charge. The shop is also knocking some $$$ off the re-install of the new turbos in inlets.
Good to hear. Amazing all the know all rant boys that had this all figured out now have nothing to say. Anyways good going for you guys to see how these turbos are performing. I'm definitely keeping a close watch on these to put on my car after winter storage.

You can run meth with the stock lpfp. Meth has NOTHING to do with the lpfp system or really the HPFP unless you are spraying so much because you need to use it as fuel. I ran meth on my stock lpfp, plenty have and do.

525 draws too much and is a pain, not worth the gains over the tried and true 450. DIY a 450 for $120 bucks in your stock bucket or buy from @PFS . If you need more fuel than that be prepared to start dropping serious coin.

I agree with a knock off no name IC. Just spend the money once and get the BMS or VRSF 'race' ICs. Go big or go home.

For everyone getting meth kits please get one with all the failsafes built in. Don't spray and pray, Jesus loves engines.

So is anyone else going to post up their balance sheets? Be nice to get to the bottom of that one.
Oh yes well said.

On an AT that would be absolute Max, 500 I would be comfortable with. I'm not trying to break records on an old ass car. I'd be perfectly happy at 500whp on $1500 turbos on a $7000 car
Near 600bhp give or take is a rocket with these N54 cars. Deceptively fast.

You ain't lying, this thing is terrifying to drive now. My anxiety goes up whenever I have to turn off traction control for a tune log.

Here you go, take it with a grain of salt since its virtual Dyno. each pull is going a different direction on the same stretch of highway so incline and decline would be opposite of each other. This was at 20psi and overboosting to 21.5. Will be interested what a realy dyno reports and I think I could handle 21 PSI with a stage 2 LPFP since timing and afr looked great, as well as HPFP pressures. I know there is no way in hell i'm making that much on 93 octane in 60 degree ambient. But I would imagine its probably well above 450 since the Pure600s are shown to hit 497whp on their site with only 93 octane.

Shawn was pretty adamant on keeping the turbos under 22psi, which right there isn't anywhere near those running 30psi with the Pure600s

I love how all the shit talkers were here long enough to get this thrown into the octagon and then leave. There is definitely some nefarious shit going on between this and e90post. Only negative thing I've seen so far is a collapsed vrsf inlet that Shawn took care of even though he wasn't obligated to.

Drove the car home yesterday and she felt great. Unfortunately I won't be able to post results until spring.

Looks like yours are running great Eyelobes.

Glad to see they are working for you! I wouldn’t consider myself a shit talker, but definitely not a DAW fan and my option remains the same. The td03 line up is your average stock style manifold china turbo with a better warranty.

Was more directed at the two near the beginning of the thread and the same ones that started over at e90post. And thanks, if I can do 500-550 reliably it's money well spent, IMO.

Glad you got it sorted in time though! I hate to hear that people put their cars away for a season, I couldn't stand it... But I live in the south so our Winters are pretty mild in comparison. If it gets too squirrelly I'll throw my stock wheels with extreme contacts on them.

Our issue is the rust will set in fast if you drive in the snow around Detroit, which is built on a Salt mine so we salt our roads to melt the snow and ice.

People are very happy with these turbos so far turning their cars into rockets. That's all that matters. Not whining and finger pointing from non owners of a product they have never seen let alone owned.

So Nick Olson, reseller of DAW posted on IG last night that his single turbo car won't turn on and is stuck in park. Today he was trying to sell the car saying nothing wrong with it, got called out and deleted the post. Just stay away from him and buy straight from Shawn at DAW.

So Ken said the turbos hit way harder than he thought they would, hence the 1.5psi over shoot of target. He's dialing it back a bit
So that's just amazing bro if 19 psi is 50% then that's just crazy how much power it can hold!!. Btw my stage 2 lpfp doesn't take more fuel and I needed just a bit more power out of it so I ordered bm meth kit and bought local 5 g gallon drum of 100% meth so we can use meth as fuel. I am at 22 to 20 psi on 7k. Should be close to 600 wheel hopefully. Check this out bro this mustang that beat me before and then he installed twin turbos after and did 9 sec quarter mile, sold his turbos, and other parts, but still have some things and he installed his old paramount performance tune back in and e85 and slicks and also removed his interior, called me out. He wanted a dig but I only wanted roll. So he decided to do roll and thought he will still beat me. He still has some suspension there too I think. Check the video of all the smack talk from mustang and outcome!!! You will love it. Grudge race.

Sweet. 24psi which should be no problem for those turbos with your fuel to back it up will get you 600whp.

I've noticed all the the 3 amigos on e90 and here ect have FA to say with how these turbos are performing. As well as all the shit talking from the one buffoon particularly about the warranty issue that was an install issue and still DAW did a solid. Good to see all these happy owners so far.

Who knows but it's funny how paranoid some get especially when they have never even seen DAW turbos let alone owned a set yet experts on every aspect. Ignorance is bliss. Seems they have disappeared in the last weeks anyways. So far very impressed with what I have seen with these turbos.

Only half decent product DAW makes is the stage 2 because Shawn has nothing to do with them stage 4s are a complete disaster. I also don't like the fact that if you want to run higher than 22 psi you'll get your warranty voided
