Just found this in another b58 coil thread whilst browsing around, its supposed to be the B58 coil dwell times, anyone able to verify?

i have now the SPP 209E (CPBK206 for the set of 6) here.

i cut the spring and put the eldor resistor inside.
much better fittment as the Stock boot (boot sits tighter on coil)

Looks like Rich did the same thing to the boots in his kit..

Yes fortunately the resistor fit very nicely in the boots I use after clipping off the larger of the two lips. Other than cutting the B58 boot the modification to use the resistor was actually no more difficult than it was to stretch the spring and modify the coil side to fit into the coil. I did the set on my are in a couple of minutes per boot.

The modification to the spring for the boots I provide is just cutting it in half and then screwing one of the original B58 springs into it. The spark plug connection is not modified so it works the same way it would in its original application. The spring ha the same 10mm of compression in its pocket inside of the boot that it did in the original application. No spring stretching is required and because it is cut in half it gives 6 spare springs that can be used if the coils ever have to be replaced.

I found that re-using the connector springs from the B58 coils worked best with the boots I provide. This gives the same exact resistor connections as the original B58 coils without having to do a lot of bending and shaping of the springs.

Keep us posted on your results!

Looks like you're just using a series of nuts and a bolt to secure to the.. valve cover directly?

well. i think you will need the manifold location option of the PR kit and than try to position the coils where they have room

If you look at the second pic without the cover you'll see that the charge pipe is in the way, if I try to mount it there i'll have to fab up some sort of bracketry to support it, I don't think it will look nice and clean and it will be exposed to the heat from the exhaust too.
