I guess...It's bolted to the engine so stress is not an issue. Any quality made manifold is going to add about the same unless you use composites. Which could honestly increase the price. Something this platform does not like ;) but I guess if you are chasing high hp numbers and need an intake manifold like this you are already past the point of no return.

Something like this for instance obviously designed for our inline six: https://www.amsperformance.com/cart/alpha-performance-r35-gt-r-carbon-fiber-intake-manifold.html/

I personally would consider it if someone made one for our platform.

Multiply by 2.2 lol its good to have an illusion of freedom.

Much love.

It is no illusion other than if you mean a global conspiracy to promote socialism rules us all.

Have your guns been taken away from you yet? That is the 1st step in making sure the government can dictate rule vs. The people.

Uh oh. I see where this thread is heading...
It does not have to and could go to the octocodon of justice.

I'm just saying if you wanted to take control of people wouldn't the easiest way to start would be taking away their real only way of of fighting a government they disagree with aka weapons?

Banning guns and knives is going great in Briton. Maybe we should do the same!

If we should look state side: Chicago.

Guns are antiquated and simply used as a trigger, no pun intended. We’re bringing home 250 or so reps from China due to more odd symptoms of sonic attacks per the yesterday’s WSJ.

Remember how the heavily armed Russian group Wagner did when they attacked US position in Syria a few months ago? The entire state of OK, or WV or pick your state/states can be armed to the teeth and they couldn’t stop the gov from rolling right over them.
I’m a gun owner, my son has shot rifles since he could hold them but in no way see them as they were when 2A was written and is now being interpreted.

International warfare is now being fought in cyberspace. Essentially why that parade idea is so fucking stupid.

Composite IM is 100% the best route as well.

We have strick gun control.but we can have them for sporting shooting clubs and only if we need them like farmers

You have to pass a medical and a strick set of guidelines before you can get them

A gun doesnt make you free but its nice illusion

A gun does not make you free. PERIOD. It gives you the tools to stand up aganst injustice. Weapons of all types have done the same time and time again throughout history. The same weapons keep people down if they can not resist.

Hate the 2nd amendment all you want. There is a reason it is there. Many other countries and people within would love to have what the American people have. The ability to put their government in check.

Don't even mention tanks.

Remind me when a government was overturned without weapons.

It's kind of like nukes. I'd rather have them and not use them, than not have them and need them. Like condoms.

Agree to disagree. We still for some odd reason like the n54.

If everyone in China or Russia had a gun do you think they would let their government be run the way it is? Are they honestly free?

Take away the only form of rebellion other than a vote. Make townspeople dependant on the state for substance. Sound familiar?

Happy 4th of July.

There are a lot of men dead who have given us this privilege.

We can have guns and 99% of australian public chooses not to.

Please dont take this the wrong way just stating fact here

We dont have school shootings, or some idiot walking through a shopping center shooting up the place every other month

I can walk safely down the street without worrying in most places.

But this is a.manifold thread not the gun debate

Lets start a new thread for this and keep this one clear

When the manifold is heat soaked you cant touch it but the charge pipe you can quite easily and you can leave your hand on it for quite some time

Must be because of the thickness of the material

Its just an observation, could not be stuffed measuring it

In my case it doesnt affect performance but im getting the dome done in carbon fibre to reduce weight from 12kg to maybe 6 to 7 kg

Its only a guestamation but its going to look much cooler and will definitely retain far less heat with a huge weight saving.

The charge pipe is much further from the source of the heat so there's a greater temperature gradient than the manifold. All the heat will be radiated before it reaches the end of the charge pipe. Plus it's a much smaller mass.

The VTT tests didn't show much difference in performance from aftermarket manifolds. I'd be interested to see the distribution differences from the manifolds that flow more near port 1 back to port 6. Probably not a mod for you OP unless you want the integrated port injection or you want your car to look cool.

There was a considerably big performance difference with the ff manifold that we tested and have data to prove it.

All we did is swap out the manifold.and there was an instant 35rwk gain in the midrange and 15rwk up top with extra tuning changes

It was repeated with 2 other cars here in oz

All the data and testing results are on other forums, i think it might be here too as fab factory posted our results.

We also installed the phenolic spacer gasket from evolution of speed last week finally after we had the manifold coated black and the heat loss difference is absolutely ridiculous

I can go for a very spirited drive and the manifold is barely luke warm

Without this spacer you couldn't touch it otherwise you would burn your hand

I have the eos spacer also. It definitely makes the manifold much cooler. That alone is worth it regardless of what people believe about real world iat

These manifolds should not be ran without one full stop.

The difference is like night & day

I'm installing my Phoenix Racing PI intake manifold next weekend and have started to second guess not ordering one of the spacers to help with heat soak. A few concerns though, wouldn't this cause even more leaking points? When running E85 or blends, would it even be necessary?

It will cause more potential spots for boost leak, but will reduce iat by keeping the manifold isolated from cylinder head temps.
