Currently have a spec stage 3+ but ended but slipping after ~30,000km. Has anyone tried any of the ACT clutches? I can get a good deal through work and been looking at the BM8-XTG6. Its rated for 665ft/lbs. http://www.advancedclutch.com/bm8-xtg6

1. Will this work with my current SPEC SMFW
2. Has anyone had any experience with this on their N54 platform?

I haven't seen many people use the 6 puck so hopefully someone will chime in. As for the flywheel do you know if you have a SAC pressure on plate or non? The stepped spec flywheel takes any stock style clutch and the flat spec flywheel is only for thier non sac clutches.

Not a popular option on the N54. I used them exclusively on the 4G63 and had great luck with them.

what mods? did you daily the car, was it a race car, a mix?

30k kms is just shy of 19k miles, that's terrible life for a clutch

Previous owner installed it. I’m assuming it’s the non stock one. He installed it back in 2013 before mfactory came out with their flywheel.

Mainly daily only went to the track like 5 tones total, I’ve heard mixed reviews about quality control on spec so I’m assuming that till I take it apart.

Just how good of a deal can u get??? Just wondering. Maybe u can hook me up.:tonguewink:

As for clutch. I have a clutchmaster that only last me about 20k km. (And yes i know how to drive manual) one thing that might have caused it would be i reused my dmfw. But i have a mfactory fw + 335is clutch ready to go in.
