335 shell with Turbo Toyota Engine

Was at Poconos Raceway this past weekend, a handful of single turbo top mounts n54 cars there representing and were hitting some nice high mph,saw one in particular that hit 165,checked the car out and what I found was a Toyota engine,trans,top mount turbo.he was having problems with the car and wasn't much for conversation,was trying to fix his issues but it's something you dont see every day.his car was one of the fastest that day,its the white car.

Pretty cool! If I ever do a swap it'll be a 2jz for sure

I wonder what would be easier to swap into our chassis, 2jz or lsx?

There's an LS swap kit (engine mounts, accessory drive brackets, etc) available. Not sure about the 2jz.

That's the guy with the dark hat,its his car from NY.nice guy but was occupied with some gremlins in his car,just watched some videos,his car is no joke,wonder how hard was it to setup a 2jz in the car.

Car is a bomb. I highly doubt it makes 1000hp as It didnt trap over 160mph. Im sure once its tuning is finalized it will move out. But i wasnt too impressed

I would argue that an ls will make 1000whp easier and cheaper than a 2jz. Way too many sbe ls setups making 900+.

I think cxracing might make a 2j swap kit but but the trans becomes an expensive proposition. Those getrags are money.

i saw one run with him passing at end say 162.5 mph,then in his group off track said they have run 165mph,then issues rose up on car which they were trying to fix.he was parked by gate entrance right next to the stand that were giving away license plate frames.couldnt find the results yet,maybe not posted yet?

350z trans with adapter plate will handle the power and they are cheap/plentiful. Ran one in my Z3 back in the day.
