Some good shit man! You and I s em to be on the same page engine bay wise. Sleeper status by sourcing BMW parts from every other car to make stuff clean and keep it oem.
It was definitely a sleeper before. Now with the carbon trunk not so much. I'm going for more of a 'factory fit' appearance moreso than just a sleeper look. Clean and modified yet unassuming.

I would paint the trunk and then fade it out on the wing if that makes sense like what convert is saying. Also upgrade those tail lights!

They sell plug and play lci style Euro blinkers etc.

I actually want to try and get the E92 LCI tails to work on an E93. There are some differences, I'm not sure what but I'll go through the wiring later and see if I can find out for fun.

I've been busy!

I got the front brakes and stainless lines finished, so brakes are all done. I'll take a better photo once I'm all finished working on the car and put it back down on the ground:

Converted the chargepipe to 4AN:

I also mocked up a Setrab 72 row trans cooler. I think its safe to say I'll never need to rely on any fan activation and will definitely be needing a thermostat.

Nearly finished the Double Shotgun install, the guide is a work in progress: https://bmw.spoolstreet.com/documents/vtt-double-shotgun-installation.53/

While I was in there, I put on the aluminum power steering pulley from ECS:

And the mickey mouse coolant flange:

And I finally finished the wiring for the servotronic retrofit, that is documented in the servotronic thread:

Now I just need to finish the shotgun install and code the servotronic.

Curious to see how these double/single shotgun actually perform in real life.

There have been multiple reports on both I've read and heard. The single shotgun just did 700whp on full E85.

Yeah, I have seen these show up now and then. But the only solid review with pics and some sort of log is this one: https://bmw.spoolstreet.com/threads/vtt-double-barrel-review.2162/

These things have been around since late 2014. It is an interesting concept, but with early report of QC problem (belt slips, broken mounts, etc.) and reputation of VTT, I am just a bit skeptical until there are more solid data on these things.

There is more. Frankly, its an expensive piece that is a pain to install and its hooked up to a lot of cars that just aren't finished or are in a state of being upgraded. I've owned my car for almost 2 years and I've barely driven it.

Here is another one: https://bmw.spoolstreet.com/threads/135i-build-thread.2441/page-5

Theres at least 2-3 more people I've spoken to, same story, it performs.

Fair enough, going through a build myself, so I can relate to that.

Hoping to see some results in the near future.

There is so much work you've put into this, great products, must of got a ton invested. Goes to show there are dedicated workers to this platform that put out remarkable products. Looks like it's going to be a beast!

Thanks! I figured I'd start my mid life crisis project a bit early so I'm ready in advance.

Ya I just did 4.5 hrs on a dyno to make base tune remotely with my tuner at $100 hr dyno time. Now he'll come down to finalize tune on dyno at end of this month. I can't drive car until I put new tires on. Drove mine for 5 months and they're shot. They spun on dyno and now they're just all steel. I'll snap pic of them tomorrow. NT05R 285

Has not been to the wash but here is a peak. Still getting the trunk dialed in, need to do some more adjusting. The driver side shock actually broke itself when I had it pushed down into the trunk. I went to install it and noticed it had pressed so hard against the back of the car it broke the tip off. Another issue, I can pull the shock off the stud even after its been clipped on, the connection is not good because of the angle or size, not sure. Also the pad sweep is not centered on my rear rotors, not sure there is a solution to this without just going to an ECS style bracket.
