If you've got 12,000 euros laying around, a sequential gearbox might be in your future. If not, then I guess you'll have to just watch from behind the internet. Apparently it comes with the correct bellhousing for the N54. It has a custom made intake manifold, stock motor and what appears to be a jp top mount manifold with individual egt probes which they intend to use as a port injection safety.

This is incredible and I hope to see further progress! This is a genuine build from the ground up.

If he is using an EMS-4 or haltech, etc for PI control you can very easily add external sensor input.

Sure, but EGT is pretty reactive and takes too long IMO to detect, and most of those controllers don't have more than 4 injector drivers so there's no way to individualize control. And even if you could, I don't think I'd want to base any PI control on EGT, maybe like a limp mode I guess though. Probably just data gathering I would think.

I just want that sequential...

I guess if you log enough data and have a controller w/ 6-8 injector drivers, you can then tailor the PI injection per cyl that needs some EGT cooling.

That's actually a pretty good use for it, hadn't thought of that. Less of a safety and more of a way of balancing out cylinder imbalances. I don't think I'd do it dynamically necessarily, just treat the data as a way to calibrate things you could say. At very high power where flow imbalances are multiplied that would be a neat trick.
