I have a 2008 335xi and thinking about doing a single turbo kit. I've been asking around and I heard it's do able but im wondering what needs to get modified and changed in order for it to fit around the transfer case and axles. Any thoughts on how I would go around this? Or if parts are available for the xi?

ACF/VM Top mount kits fit both RWD and AWD without modifications.
both ACF and docrace are around $5k if you don't go crazy with the options... go with a journal bearing turbo from PTE or Borg Warner if you want to keep the budget small, but don't skimp on the manifold...
Gotta push them somehow. Im literally the only advertisement they got. Plus, it's honestly the best top mount kit in the market.

I am considering the same .. DOC RACE website for RWD KIT for 6266 ball bearing priced at $5.095. Looks like you need to call for AWD Kit. Does anyone have any idea the actual cost or how much more the kit would cost over the RWD kit?

What other options? That seems to be a tad bit expensive from what I have read.
The XI cost a bit more and so does the 6466 DBB. That is what i paid through my shop so there may be a few extra's to complete the installation in that cost.
I see you pulled the trigger on the VM kit. How's it going? A few concerning threads moved me to the Doc kit. Timing is important for me. I want this car done as soon as possible.
